Ask and you shall receive. After a week where the kicker position looked unsettled, Blanton Creque set the UofL record for most points by a kicker vs. NC State and won the ACC specialist of the week. The competition looks over for now.

This kid has looked really good from the start. Glad we have him. Leg strength needs to get better but I believe it will. His short range accuracy has been great.

Being able to bomb kicks from 50+ is just icing on the cake in college. If a kicker is accurate from 40 yards and in, that's a solid college kicker. I'm sure NC State would take that in a heartbeat.

The more height on the ball leads to a shorter kick until like others have said, he develops more leg strength.

I agree on more height, the problem on kickoffs is they were short and low. The field goal kicking was good I think the kicking game will continue to improve.

Listening to the radio call of the NC State game Paul Rogers mentioned a couple of time during the game that because of the height the NC State punter was getting in the ball that he had only had two kicks all season that got any positive return yards.
