We can run it. Got three backs. Down to 2 because of a broken collar bone. Factor in the 6'5" 225 pound QB who will truck stick a sucka on the way down the field and the running game is formidable.
The problem is that there are about 4 or 5 wideouts and a tight-end that can fly and a QB that can sling it. So that helps out the running game tremendously.
Weddington was the best team we've seen in a while. We'll see no better team win or lose the rest of the year. The lessons they taught us were invaluable.
We'll be the best team Ashbrook has seen all year. That's a fact. Business is picking up in the GAS-HOUSE.
Ashbrook is athletic with good speed on defense, a solid QB, and a pretty good running back. Much better coached than prior years and obviously have some excitement around the program as they have 50+ kids on he roster which you never saw a few years back. SP has played both on the road which was tough. Ashbrook game was much closer but in reality I feel that they controlled the game from start to end. SP laid an early egg with three fumbles in the first four possessions at Crest and that game should have been closer but Crest was the better team. I think that Crest will find a way to score more than Ashbrook but I would expect a tough game. 21-14?
Y'all keep taking about those fumbles. That's cool, but don't fumble. But what got you the running clock was your defense. It had NO answer.

Not saying it can't happen, but I will be shocked if we're held to 21. Offense has improved each week.
You sure about that? 7 Turnover isn't a big deal. Give it away 7 times this Friday vs. Ashbrook and let me know what the score turns out to be.
Told you all the SP folk would start to re-imagine the game with enough time. They didn't lose it, just ran out of time.
Man you guys area trip. Acting like that swarming defense didn’t cause a lot of that. Your pitch men had nowhere to run. Couldn’t get outside. That’s why the pitches were fumbled. Your QB was punished routinely.
And like I said. Your defense couldn’t stop our offense at all. Believe what makes you feel better. I don’t care.
We won’t turn it over 7 times.
Crest defense had an answer to whatever SP did on offense

I didn't say the Crest defense didn't dominate our offense. Your offense looked good as well. There are chinks, though. You're the best 5a team in the state right now without a doubt, though.
We will see if Crest can hold Ashbrook to less than 20. They should be able to..... but are they able to do it physically? Neither team has any major injuries going into this game right now, right? We will see how things shake out in this one for both sides......
I felt that I wrote a post that was positive for Crest and I guess some combinatiion of arrogance and insecuity does not allow them to read anything objectively. If Crest would have fumbled, they would be saying that they would have won bigger without the fumbles. I acknowledged them as the better team but pointed out that SP did not help themselves. I said that Crest should beat Ashbrook, but somehow all that they read was that I was putting Crest down. This is a great Crest team and it will be a major shock if they do not win it all. SP will continue to play hard and go as far as they can go and I am proud of what the Raiders do. I have not posted in a long time as this board is dominated by Crest fans who do not want any conversation but to engage in their internal lovefest. Enjoy the season Chargers as it should be special,

I will leave this site once again only to return in the unlikely case that Crest loses a game this year. I doubt it’s a coach. The coaches are too busy game planning for our big matchup at Highland Tech. Hopefully we can get a big enough lead for people to leave and go to Ashbrook. I would hate to see that Ashbrook stadium empty.
