Crest we feel ya! We got that beating last year. Hickory has a heck of a talent at QB. I’ve thought all along him and the East Forsyth QB were a class above the rest. I saw Ely when he came to ACR and I knew he wasn’t in their class but he is talented just not ACC ready talented.

Everybody on here gave the Hickory QB his props. Everybody on here said he was great and made unreal throws. Sausages said nothing of the Hickory players, he spoke only of our team. Why the need to wake up this morning and make up another screen name to bash #0? He made a couple bad decisions but put up 48 points while banged up. 48 points is not a "real qb?" Go troll somewhere else.

Ely played well. He was hurting in the second half from those runs and the jogging for 159 to get the next play. Made a couple throws he probably wish he hadn’t but so what? He gave 150 percent l.

He only threw it 23 times? I figured with that many points and so much back and forth he had at least 35 pass attempts
It seemed like 3 or 4 of the TD drives were 3 plays or less. I'm going to say 3 of those 6 incompletions were him chucking it out of bounds when there was nothing there.

My buddy informed them when he set off the metal detector that he had a metal hip. The officer there thanked him 'for being so honest' and waved him on in. Ponder that one for a minute.

I'm not one for the pregame chatter from either team. The student/athletes are what it's all about and many posters forget that. It was such an entertaining game overall and I think many folks got to see how talented Brady Stober is. He also carries a 4.7 GPA and works his tail off watching film and being a leader.
The play calling by Crest on their last two drives was certainly confusing.
I agree it’s mostly about the kids. But this is a forum to discuss North Carolina High School Football. This is for fans to converse and sometimes mingle.

doesnt change the fact they played a cupcake. schedule and they wouldn’t be undefeated in the east promise u that lol winning one game doesn’t mean the west is better it means you match up well against that team we seen that in 3a and 4a when west teams come down in the regular season
