This was a wild one last year. Weather says low of 32 and 50% chance of rain for Friday. So there’s a chance this game might be played in the snow, which would be fun.

Crest has to play 4 quarters. Not 3 or 3.5 but 4 quarters. They have a great team but rely too much on athleticism and not enough focus. Defense needs to make a statement next Friday night.

We said we're coming nomatter what. Simply asking a question because people have jobs and schedules. This isn't the 1980's, like it or not a lot of games in today's time get moved for whatever reason.

Outside looking in...and would like to hear a Hickory fan verify this - but had to be Hickory looking ahead to the tough teams in playoffs. Not to say Glass and Co. totally overlooked this .500 team...but kids 100% do every week across the state. When you're a top team and you know you are playing a .500 team that has gotten trounced by teams that you trounced.... it's teenage human nature.

I was at The Hickory vs JM game and can tell you on that night Hickory was good but not dominant at all. JM had and walk in TD to number 4, and a likely TD to number 17 that was dropped. They are good but honestly JM had no business losing that game.

either way Crest is Crest and is a state champion favorite for a reason.
