I didn't want to put "Iowa" in the title to invite their trolls, but have you seen their planned recruiting visits this weekend for the Penn State game? 40 players, including 2 5*s, 9 4*s, and 14 3*s. Definitely reaping the benefits of being a top-5 team. Many of them are players Nebraska is also recruiting, including a Bellevue West kid and Mosai Newsom's brother.

Go Penn State!

We really need Penn State to beat these guys. The trouble is Penn State has a crappy running game. Also, Penn State has a history of playing like crap in Iowa City. But the PSU defense this year is fantastic. Probably going to be a low scoring defensive battle. But damn would I love to see PSU give these guys a beat down.

We are lucky that the two 5* guys are from Iowa. Things are trending in Iowa’s favor on both. The 16th overall ranked prospect in 2023 will also be there for his second visit this year. Exciting times to be a Hawk.

Say what you want, I read the list of midlands in the NFL and what they did that week in the league. Iowa is very well represented.

I’ll never understand why anyone would limit themselves to interactions with ONLY their own fan base. It doesn’t seem like a good way to learn and grow as a fan.

There is a Husker fan who subscribes to the Lounge on Hawkeye Report and is very respectable. There is nothing wrong with chatting it up with opposing fan bases.

Not only this year. Iowa has played Ohio State twice in the last ten years, 2013 and 2017.
Nebraska will have played OSU 8 times including 6 years in a row with this year's game. You'd think OSU was a divisional game with how much Nebraska plays that team recently.

What does that mean?

That sounds like something that the annoying Husker fan would say when they were "educating" other fans about college football. I used to hate seeing that.

We went to the Michigan game in 2018 and some old Michigan fan bombed into our tailgate, totally fine, but then he proceeded to "educate" us about college football for the next 3 hours.

I go to a message board to discuss the topic of Nebraska football with Nebraska fans. Glad you have some nice Husker fan on you board. You won't find me on there. The little bit I want to learn about Iowa, I can find on news outlets or twitter feeds. I think I am above average when it comes football knowledge and not a single iota came from a message board associated with another team.

I am glad you can come on here and learn from us though.

Hawk opponents are 12-12 because we gave them 5 losses. if they had beat us, they'd be 17-7.

That's how it works.

Husker opponents are 18-13 because you lost to 3 of them. If you had won those 6 games, they'd be 12-19.

Math is hard.

Math is hard, so hard evidently you got confused, how’d you go from 3 to 6? We lost three, with what you’re trying to show you only needed to take those three losses from their win column and toss in them to the loss column thus making them 15-16 not 12-19… learn math first before you make yourself look like a bigger fool…

Hawk opponents are 12-12 because we gave them 5 losses. if they had beat us, they'd be 17-7. A winning record.

That's how it works.

Husker opponents are 18-13 because you lost to 3 of them. If you had won those 3 games, they'd be 15-16. A losing record.
