Pretty much what was expected regardless of all the excuses. Lucky that many showed and most of the wives and kid looked tired and did not want to be there.
You are never going to get a lot of students and I'd bet most schools have no better luck. It's a boring scrimmage, you can't hit the QB, and there is zero excitement or emotion From either the fans or the players. Spring game is fun for the die hards, the players and you just pray nobody gets hurt.
Damn Subsidy. There hasnt been printed rosters for spring game in about 5 years
This..as much as I try to convince myself every year I attend the spring game that this year it will be different, it still ends up being boring
But the Tailgates are GREAT!I'm going to have remind myself of this post next year, before I decide whether to go to the Spring Game or not.

Coming off a lackluster season, not having an instantaneously recognizable big name coach, and a roster without a star player, what is everyone expecting? I attended. I'd guess somewhere between 12 and 15K in attendance. Essentially Rutgers football diehards and people looking for a free outdoor activity in attendance. Biggest discussions in my section were the QB competition and the sweet men's lacrosse and baseball wins over Pepsi State. Some minor complaints about not having printed paper rosters available. Did stadium staff have rosters to hand out?

I got one. They were being handed out in the north entrance. There hasnt been printed rosters for spring game in about 5 years
A lot of people did just that.Gotcha. Tailgate; don't go inside the stadium.
Rosters were handed out as fans entered the stadium .Maybe the supply was limited. There hasnt been printed rosters for spring game in about 5 years
