That’s what happens when you build a 15+ point lead and keep it above 10 for the entire second half.
This. Combine that with the team’s slow start to the season, our opponent being one of the worst P6 conference teams and the late midweek tip — and this was a recipe for a tamer crowd

Huh? That was our best game of the season. Crowd wasn't insane, but it was solid.

Agree - many factors (described above) could have lead to lame crowd

While the crowd wasn’t necessarily lame it was somewhat tame

GTown sucks - we played well enough to win. Lots of stoppages.

We also had 3 great Cliff dunks and two by Gavin, as well as some balls-to-the-wall swarming defense, especially by our guards, so I thought it was exciting and we were cheering loudly in 102...

I thought there were a considerable number of empties for what is probably the most attractive OOC game on the home schedule. Even the student section had plenty of room. Yes Georgetown is not good and we are clearly a work in progress. Not a great game by any means and the late start does not help.

I say it must have been you. It is an opinion of expectation. I remember the days of low expectations and watching Georgetown kick our buts. Now, there are exceedingly high expectations and the crowd might have been let down that we didn't win by 20.

There’s no way that was the same DJ last night. S/he played the football soundtrack rather than customary basketball music. Whoever was operating the music also had no feel for the game. Crowd is into it, chanting, band playing, and instead of letting it grow organically DJ piped in songs drowning out the crowd, etc.

Going a little off topic now, but why are they blaring music during our lineups? Can't even hear what the guy is saying.

On positive side, the PA announcer figured out how to say Noah's name properly
