Never understood why schools back off buyouts. A contract is a contract. If Florida decided a coach wasn't worth $3.5 a year, they can't just pay him $2mil.

It is a two way street. Frankly, it might be the only trickle down we get! CSU is not a D league coaching stop for Florida.

Good for CSU. Expect more G5 schools to step up with these types of buyout clauses. G5s are going to have to start protecting their interests in this changing world.

I also expect the G5s to get a little more stringent with their scholarship releases for transfers and not wanting to be the feeder system for P5s
