Rumors are flying around they will be moving first and very quickly. I think it’s a no-brainer Colorado‘s gonna make a move, Arizona too, do you now go for Oregon and Washington and leave the rest.

Arizona doesn’t have a ceiling
As far as football they do. I don’t think they can match what Arizona st can do. I like them. Loved in Tucson as a kid for 4 years but phoenix is a bigger get. I say get both of them

Why cause it’s bigger?

Tucson is a college town and better
Phoenix 5th largest city in US , with a population of 1.7 million. Metro area about 5 million-. TV market is the 11th largest in US.

Tucson 33rd in population at 542, 000. Metro area is a little over 1 million- 1/5 the size of Phoenix. TV market is 71st.

It's not even close.

Therein lies the problem. Who cares where the school is located? (unfortunately broadcasters must) But UA overall is a better school/athletic department than ASU. The bigger cities have the pro teams with the majority of the fans.

If one of Arizona or ASU join the BIG 12, at some point so will the other. Highly unlikely they are joining Sec or B10.

That's what the Big 12 needs. Professional sports competition.

Arizona Coyotes, Phoenix Suns, Phoenix Mercury, Arizona Diamondbacks and Arizona Cardinals all in Phoenix .

Not sure why you hate BYU soo much, but they do have a lot of worth to them.
I don’t hate. And I wasn’t talking about their tv worth that agenda driven executives with their biases give them. It’s their attitude and actions (just like ND) that show their true colors.

The Mormon church has a long history of racism. Blacks were not allowed into the priesthood until 1978. Research Mormons and Cain. A good many Christian religions don't consider Mormons to be Christians. How many Christian religions claim god lives on the planet Kolob? Its not like anyone else has ever heard of that planet. How many Christian religions claim there are 3 levels of heaven? Its been proven that many of the names and places in the book of Mormon never existed. How many Christian religions have secret rituals inside of temples? The only other religion that I know of that has secret rituals is Satanism. For all we know they could be sacrificing chickens inside those temples.

You’re full of crap, and everyone here knows it.
But I understand you now, you’re definitely a mormon, and you got your little girl’s feelings hurt. Sorry the truth about byu hurts, but I never said anything bad about the mormon religion, just the facts. So I am not anti Christian, far from it. And even though byu is a Mormon based school, that doesn’t come into play when I talk about their football and athletics.

That is only 18. Original 10 + 4 - OUT = 12. Remaining 2? Wait for the ACC to fold? Cal, Ore, Wash will bolt to the B1G in a heartbeat and we all know that they are on the B1G list. Would we take them only to be raided again? OR go after some programs in new markets that we know will be here for the long run..

You wouldn't accept a school that brings value because you think their attitude isn't aligned with yours? Think why the ACC didn't want WVU in the 50's or their last 2 rounds of picking off BE schools?

I have always been glad we are not in the ACC.

I know lots of people are waiting for the ACC to fold. That may happen, and it may not happen for 12 years - may never happen. And once they get picked over by the BIG and the SEC who would be left? Louisvllle, Syracuse probably, maybe Pitt, BC, VT and NCState. I was wondering where would Memphis be if they spent the next 12 years with Big12 revenue. My hunch is that there would be very small differences between Memphis and the ACC leftovers at that point.

By the time the ACC contract ends who knows what the landscape will be. Big 12 might be the one that has folded or become a stronger AAC 2.0.
