He said at his presser after his firing, the only way I can win in the Big 12 is to cheat. To pay recruits cash and I will not do this.

Losers mentality.

Really???

[Plum Street]

This is the life we chose. Shady business

I always thought taking a lower level power 6 conference job is way more difficult than being a solid mid major coach. Sure, Pike has done an excellent job… however the odds are stacked against those schools so much. If i was a head coach I would build a program at a school I was comfortable with and stay as long as they’d want me to.

It’s not cheating if the rules don’t get enforced.

With NIL, paying players indirectly is legal and fair game. We should be doing it IMO.

Didn't he coach in the SEC?

Yeah. I don't think most moms would come out and say something like that, but we shouldn't be shocked if one actually does.

Missouri is in the SEC, but I forget all the time.

1. I hope the NCAA doesnt find out about these shady practices. 2. This man seems to have some good moral values and is not afraid to stand up to the big boys.

I bet we could probably get freshman Sean Durugordon from them. But we need to be smart with our Scholls. We already have enough young players. We need experienced players in the portal

This also sheds some light on Pike's success. I'm sure there are some bridges RU will not cross, so some kids, maybe many kids, we just aren't going to get.
