Haven't watched enough Curb, but Larry reminded me of George. If I can binge it, I'll give it a try.

The George Costanza character was based off of the real life Larry David so he should have reminded you of George. They made a joke out of it on the last curb episode where the Seinfeld cast was on it.

JLD is/was smoke. They downplayed her looks, probably because the writers didn't want to have to do the Jerry/Elaine thing (other than the "this, that, and the other" episode that was a one off).

JLD is attractive and rich beyond belief, but if you think she is/was hotter than Cheryl Hines I can't help you.

Curb seemed to shed some of the whiny-ness that I found in Seinfeld. And a comedy always works better on an unrated platform. It feels more real. It was a problem I had with FX's "The League".. their insults were cringe-worthy because NO ONE PG-13s their day to day banter with friends.

LD getting into "Eff You" screaming matches is priceless. It was real, it wasn't hamstrung by network ********. For that, Curb wins.

And as far as main characters go, Larry David is better than Jerry Seinfeld, IMO.

A lot of the dialogue in Curb is improvised, so that makes the arguments Larry gets in with Jeff, Ted Danson, Susie, Richard Lewis, Funkhouser, etc. even funnier.

When Chris Farley's brother stomps the rat dog at the end of that episode, I don't think I've ever laughed harder in my life. Seinfeld is my favorite show of all time, but it's never had me in tears like Curb.

I guess, maybe, but it probabaly depends on the pic because this Cheryl lady is clearly a man in that pic up top.

JLd has the "girl next door" factor, plus she's funny. Cheryl is pretty hot but nobody knows her name and she's not really funny, plus she's a man sometimes. I'm bringing JLD home to mama, and banging Cheryl on the side when she doesn't have a penis. How bout that.

We basically agree. JDL is funnier, a better actress, better writer, and her daddy has more money than we could ever spend. If I'm wanting to get married and and have kids she's my pick. If I'm spending a week or two on a yacht cruising the Carribean, I'm taking Cheryl.

I mean, I'd do Cheryl Hines.. And she was even hotter in the short lived "Suburgatory".. But JLD any day.

..Actually not any day. JLD before 2000? No. But after.. when her hair became normal and she didn't dress like a dumbass? Yes. She could get it in VEEP.

JLD has more natural beauty to me.. CH kind of has a dog face.

early 2000's Abercrombie boys swim trunks aside, the above picture isn't half bad.

My wife probably won't let me bang either one of them. She doesn't support any of my hobbies.

I like observational comedy, but Doug Stanhope's take on Seinfeld is classic:

"Did you ever notice?" he says. Yeah, I just Googled it, Jerry. You're irrelevant. "What happened to the other sock in the dryer?" I Googled it, Jerry. You lost it, you dropped it on the way from the dryer on the way to the thing more likely than not. According to Google, 74.6 percent of the time it's actually behind the dryer. Now you don't have to wonder anymore.

Until Curb comes back, VEEP with JLD is the funniest show on TV...followed by Silicon Valley.

Did you know that Marty Funkhouser is an orphan? He is, but Larry doesnt accept it.
