I think you will see Newby in a few situations because he is a senior and will garner a little playing time, but all indications point to OZ & Tre. I'll say I think the depth chart is wrong, but who knows. I'll eat crow if Newby carries it 25 times the first game, but from what i've heard that won't be the case at this point.

Very true. More just making the point OZ and Tre are the Top 2 at this point, and Newby is not #1 as listed.
I think Newby being listed #1 is just because he is a senior. Give it time. By the Oregon game Ozigbo and Bryant will be getting more snaps than Newby. Just my opinion.
It won't take that long. I think we will see against Fresno that it's OZ & Tre, but whatever. I'm just glad football is back and we are discussing it vs all of the other BS during the dead period. Hooray for FB and GBR!
All the things you brought up, were openly discussed on this board last year. Validation. I think W got sat a little bit; but there was a lot of talent. I just don't see the yards after contact from Newby ; others have mentioned this. Tre is just one of those guys who may beat you out, sometimes they bring in someone seemingly more talented. You could be an AA playing behind an AA. .... Wilbon had really seemed to improve his attitude and work ethic; a more complete player a class behind may have showed up. Ask Cherry about a potential AA returner out of Minnesota. We have four incoming freshmen marked for playing time; happens. GBR
