Got home around 9:00 PM, so many people at the game. Cars parked from stadium to Linwood Dr. West had the Wolves down 34-20 but Lincolnton came back to tie the score at 34-34, going to overtime. West comes down the field to the 20 and attempts a field goal Which was no good. Heading to overtime.

Heath scores for Lincolnton then Heath makes catch on his back. 42-42 second overtime.

CVAC never disappoints. Close one with Lincolnton, killed by the Vale crusaders, then Lincolnton stood up to the Vale crusaders and bout had a victory. West Caldwell bout gets them a W last week, EB has key injuries and CVAC fans write them off only for them to pound the highly athletic but can’t buy a win Lenior dudes.
I’m telling ya, expect a different feel in Cav country next year. I think all the kids coming back which is 90% and some talented JV shoe fillers stepping up will have something special next season. Conf champs doubtful but playoff appearance, HIGHLY.

EB42 WC 27 west score a late TD to get it a little closer. 5 starters out for EB several sick this week but battle all week but came out with the win. This team has heart!!

@GrizzlyDevil @Maiden Creek have you ever seen anything like that before with Newton just doing what they wanted with the play clock and saying screw the rules.
I didn’t notice….I did get a chuckle when the announcer said……and the officials choose to ignore the obvious block in the back.
The announcer also said we don't run the clock during timeouts here. And they kept stopping the clock when Newton got the ball even though we were in a running clock. I wouldn't want to play Maiden in the playoffs they have really stepped it up since the Bunker Hill game
Alex Hall return looks like it has breathed some life into the defense. And misher's new found confidence has really made him a weapon on offense
According to these Rankings Maiden is a 5 seed hosting Polk County tough draw

I saw Polk County vs Newton Conover they were up 42 to 14 against them at one point Newton Conover scored 3 late touchdowns to make it close Maiden will have to play like they been playing or it could be a upset. This is probably the toughest draw Maiden could of had.

No based on the athletes y’all keep talking bout West Caldwell having and them playing Bandys down to the wire, a team(Bandys) that beat up EB pretty good, I can’t say that WC was a handicap kid. These kids had a popeye moment, ate that spinach when they was down, and we saw what happened. Get ready for next year when you see a shiny nice EB running out of the locker rooms onto the field
Seems like a sucky draw if we play walkertown in 2nd round
