Too late, as you must have heard already. Funny thing though, as I shook my fist toward Maiden Creek, I realized I was also shaking toward Claremont, Bandy's and NewCon.

Bandys could be an endangered species lol. The growth in Sherrill's Ford, will probably require a new high school out that way and at that point I don't think they will see a reason to keep bandys open as old as it is.
Nearly everyday I read or hear something about growth in areas north of Charlotte. For some reason I’ve never thought about Sherrills Ford and the Bandys area. Got to agree with you, probably isn’t going to be long until it catches up with them. Got any suggestions for naming the new school.

That’s pretty good but it might not represent political sentiment in the area (swamp donkeys). If for some twisted reason I was asked to suggest something I’d recommend the Sherrills Ford GrizzlyDevils. Would be a whole lot better than the Sherrills Ford Lincolntons (That might cause a community sit down).

I concur that "Grizzlies" is an under utilized mascot.
I would prefer something truly local to the area in all seriousness...
Mountain Creek is a name commonly used in that area...and Mountain Creek High School has a nice ring to it. As far as mascots?...Miners sounds good like Creek said.

*Side note: One of the Maiden recipients was listed as Alex Hill, could this be a misspelling of Alec Hall, who in my opinion is an all-state caliber linebacker.

Damn it was a good video. The quarterback start saying this is the wrong ball this is the wrong ball then the center turns around hands it to him. Then he starts walking towards the sideline hollering the coach wrong ball coach wrong ball. Once he gets near the sideline he takes off to the end zone for a touchdown

When you land that executive spot with Intel or AMD (no pun) you can buy that as a man cave to watch games, play pool, poker and pinball. Certainly not a financial issue.
