Well in terms of the realignment I put all the Catawba Schools in 1 league and tweaked few others!! Mine was completely different than everyone else's for sure!! I am almost confident mine would never ever happen but it would be nice just saying!!

As far as the bandy's area, best solution will be to build a new high school out towards sherrills Ford the population center.. while also moving the maiden line across 16 a little further since there is still space in maiden high school. I would suggest sherrills Ford high school 49ers
49ers is a quality name. How about the Sherrills Ford Lakers? The Bandits? How about the Greenwave?
49ers works for multiple reasons, u got the gold mine area out there and with the 49ers name you have options on jersey u can go gold and red while also having some tribute to bandy's with a green version like the Charlotte 49ers
Off subject but might be time for NFL teams to hire their own massage therapist lol seems to be some on going issues in this
I believe a few schools were pretty upset about the realignment for the new CVAC but not sure they went. Seemed like WI fans were upset on social media.

Looking at how your conference shaped out it doesn't make sense that Hickory has only 14 students less than there counterpart at Saint who has to go play Mooresville, Lake Norman, South Iredell, and Alex. Central, but everyone else in Catawba County is in 1 conference. Can certainly understand why people are not happy about this Conference.
As far as hickory and St Stephen's go there's no way to fix that issue because of two different school systems. If it was one school system you could kind of redraw the lines to even up attendance but when you have three different school systems in 1 County.
Weren't they all in the same Conference's between 2005 and 2008??? I get the realignment and change over to 8 classes, throwing differences into things but they have all been in the same conference before.
If they did that was Saint Stephen's that would be the only 6a team which would mean they would get an automatic bid to the playoffs even if they lost every game
Maybe so but I believe I remember when it was at one time all the Catawba County Schools and I believe West Caldwell and Hibriten in 1 conference because the Schools around here would usually meet 1 school in that conference in the playoffs it seemed every year.
It was a split 3a/4a.
Hibriten, Hickory, Saint and Foard 3A
South Caldwell, Watauga and Alexander Central 4A
2005-09 I believe it was Tommy Henry, Petey McClain and vantrell England years. @GrizzlyDevil played them also I believe. I believe that was when we went to hibriten on their homecoming and beat them 51-7. If remembering correctly. And so it's not as weird lol I was younger and the best thing about hibriten that year was their homecoming queen

Hickory's ADM numbers include Hickory Career and Magnet School of 200 students housed in the old College Park Junior High building. That school produces a handful of students that play sports at HHS. Without those added students that would make HHS one of the smallest schools in the county.
Petey, Vantrel, and myself played 02-05. Yes I figured that was a Conference at one time!!! I had a cousin who cheered at Maiden at that time and remember a few of those games!!!
Yeah the last playoff game at the old high school was against Mitchell County I think Maiden won like 40 something to 20 something can't remember but that would have been around that era!!
I was at the Bandys game in 2006 at Maiden, Bandys won I remember but that was one of the few games I have been too since they opened the high school in Maiden up the road!!
