We as fans welcome the renewed rivalry with the Golden Lions along with the addition of the Bulldogs. I am confident that our staff feels the same way. Competitive opponents is a good thing.

West iredell was really stupid for doing what they did yesterday. They tried to get them to move them into a conference that's further away and they have never had ties to. To avoid a hard conference. In the end it just made them look weak and scared

AMD, now do you see what you're doing ? Remember when you came on here and insinuated Lincolnton was recruiting players, Remember that ? Then I said something to the effect that you should talk to fans from other teams in your county about how they saw this issue. Here you go doing something similar.

By saying we're trying to duck another team you bring the focus back to your own team. It might not be too awfully hard to convince someone that Maiden could have, if they wanted to, played a tougher non-conference schedule, "OH WAIT !" WE HAD TO PLAY SAINT STEPHENS AND FOARD, THEY MADE US !"

Yes, we know you had to play them, but I could get on here and probably convince at least some, that if Maiden really, really wanted to play a tougher non-conference schedule against say, Hickory or Statesville, that they could pull it off, and if they complained enough, Catawba County Schools would let them do it to get them to shut up; but they're not going to do it because they don't want to play tough teams and increase their chances of losing...Yes, I could do that.

Would it be correct ? No, but neither is your suggestion that we would run from Shelby. We've played them many times, conference and non-conference. You're not but 8 miles farther away from them, than we are. How many times has Maiden played Shelby.

When you say we would try and get a team kicked out of a conference, maybe you're judging us by your personal standards...Please accept that you live in a glass house and there is little benefit in trashing others. Frankly, both your team and ours are good programs. Let us respect each other.

Just a fan that has watched years of Lincolnton football, my friend! I guess the truth can be insinuated in many different ways to fit ones narrative. I have been fortunate enough to witness many great contests between my Wolves and the Golden Lions and look forward to more in the future, just as I look forward to future contests with the Blue Devils.

What....No kidding?? Man, looks like I am headed to Maiden week 2 then to watch something I never thought I would ever see!! My school playing against Maiden where half my family went.

Will definitely help out RPI. I don't see how anyone will have a higher rpi then us in 4a. Lincolnton, AC Reynolds, hickory, East Lincoln, North Lincoln, bandy's, then mid tier NC, bunker hill. And then the RPI killers suck tier Foard and West iredell

whilst Ill eat my share, your share and Lincolntons share from either, the only difference to me is sauce I prefer Reds Ill choose Alstons tea and hushpuppies over Reds too... I got what they call da sugars, and I can order a half and half tea at Reds and its still sweeter than any sweet tea in the history of sweet teas...., Alstons sauce has gotten to be nothing but vinegar and old man Lion gets what you old farts call the gerd..... Now dont get me wrong Ill throw down a Que for four at any time and not bat an eye, but will be spitting up stomach acid for three days after... Thatll conclude my Que history lesson


You probably dont even eat Red BBQ slaw, and choose cole slaw with your Que , Sinner lol

Got to say, I do prefer cole slaw to red slaw. Seems right, to me. But, either way is cool.

I take my daily pill for my GERD, and I'm bulletproof.

I like y'all's new roundabout, btw.

And is the rumor true that you all would not accept a non-conference schedule with maiden, because they dogpiled on your field a few years back?

Some say they avoid you all over the same event.




Personally, I think they just needed the RPI boost from that bigger school
