Vandy vs Michigan. Michigan jumps all over Vandy starter and leads 2-0 which should be 3-0 after a horrible call at 3rd where the guy was clearly safe. Don't know why it wasn't appealed.

Boy is baseball a funny game......Michigan (and Florida St to a point) get hot at the right time.

Announcers talking about how UM recruiting gets a lift from this game, players will take their calls that would not in the past. Announcers also help.
Disagree...ball was in the heel of the glove and ties my whole life have always been said to go runner. Michigan now up 7-3 T9th and are really impressive. This Henry kid will be a very high draft choice next year. Reminds me a lot of ZT.
I will state the obvious . . . if Michigan can win the CWS, and win or lose the next two games, they have a hell of a chance, then we can too. Also, I am pulling for a Big 10 team to win anyway, has not happened since 1966, when the Fab 4 topped Billboard charts. They are very well coached, lot of schools will be interested in their coach, normally, Michigan can't be out spent for coaches, but a warm weather team would have to be enticing.
Earlier in the CWS, the announcers said that Bakich has turned down several other programs already. Would be pretty tough to pry him away now IMO !
Dont understand why they didn't review the guy getting thrown out at 3rd in the 1st...replay showed he was clearly safe. Cost Michigan a run.

These two teams, especially Vanderbilt, have about ten times better pitching than we do
Michigan catcher killed them last night. Kid needs to learn how to get on his knees to block the ball and one he just flat out didn't catch the ball.
Memo to Mitch B: take a look at Corbin's coaching tree and its success and make the next hire accordingly.
