I guess now I understand espn obsession with the bob kerry bridge. They said they walk it every day to get to TD Ameritrade Park which means they're spending their lodging$$ in counciltucky. I assume because all teams staying in Omaha hotels??

I'll gladly be a charter member!! There's so much other neat things in Omaha. I just think it's overkill for EVERY game that I watched.

I just hope Omaha can hang in there. I don't think I've ever seen as many suttle outside forces trying to drive a wedge between Omaha, the NCAA and the CWS. Be prepared for some big runs at the next contract

it’ll be interesting if okc gets the same marching orders for softball.
i think seating is adequate (tbh-never been to a game) and its in a nice setting/location, but a chunk of the parking is a about half mile from the stadium parking.

What marching orders? Okc just expanded the capacity of the stadium to 13,000 and has a contract through 2035.

i was unaware of 2035, and i know it was expanded, but more speaking to moving to a ‘better’ location.
and building a palace.
theres not a lot of infrastructure (parking, hotels, restaurants, etc) - seemingly, very similar to rosenblatt location when Omaha was ‘encouraged’ to move it.
