-Mav- Appreciate it.

-Gonna start trying to lose some weight, apparently when you do this you must formally announce such on the internet.
-Something great happened today, my son who is 5 years old and autistic actually let me cut his hair today without crying at all for the first time.

My lady friend's 5 yr old grandson is autistic. Anytime you want to bounce stuff off me, give me a shout. For some reason known only to the good Lord, he and I have a connection that actually works. Been a few times that she has called me at midnight or 1 am to get me to talk to him. When he wants to talk to his Uncle Terry, he WANTS to talk to his Uncle Terry!

Yes, that is indeed alliteration. Also a sign of delayed speech development with the replacement of consonantal sounds by surrounding phonemes. You should seek out speech therapy before it leads to further phonological and morphological issues.

Here's my first guess. This is MisterWives "Our Own House". Let me know if I'm in the neighborhood or not! This has a poppy beat, but a lot of horns on this one. Love the vocals tho!

Well done. I think you are ready to take the next step, blu. Time for you to start mass-producing photoshops like mav & funky.

As for me and my unique interwebz skillz, I have mastered the art of quoting the photoshops produced by others and then adding a fancy smiley face or animated clapping emoticon. So I've got that going for me...which is nice.

Two great tries GV but no dice.

This tune was driven by the bass/drums with sparse other instrumental accompaniment + it also had a punky/alt POP sound.

-Been wracking my brain trying to remember a lyric, I usually write some down on a good song I hear on the radio or record a bit of it, but not on that day.

Regardless of finding it, I'm hearing some damned good new tunes gents...tytyty.

Thanks! I THINK I can track it down now. I can eliminate a lot of pop tracks now that I can focus on the bass/drum beat. I don't want to turn my friend Steven loose on it...he's even more relentless than I am. He'll send me a list of 50 tracks that fit that scenario and I'll have to listen to them all!

LOVE the original by Floetry, but that's feminine. Since he's trying to make up with her, I recced the chopped and screwed version. I use this one when I want the panties dropping! For the ladies (Blu?), the original version will make your man forgive pretty much anything you did to him...trust me.

Feeling a bit melancholy now...this is the first time in a while I've listened to this one without thinking of my ex (she used this one on me, lol!). But for a woman, this WORKS on a man! That note Minnie hits at the 2:54 mark gets to me EVERY time. Brian is on his own now, I gotta work tomorrow!

Lurkers? I don't think we have any actual lurkers. I think we merely have people who mistakenly click on the wrong thread. And sometimes they decide to stick around for a stretch out of boredom. But I doubt very seriously we have anyone who actually reads this nonsense on purpose.

Only reason I stick around this joint is because I have so much time & money invested in all of the D-League ventures we have in the works. If it weren't for that...I'd be loooooong gone by now.

I like the crazy L better. The Blu jsut reminds me of e-cigs, which reminds me of cigs, which reminds me of being sick ridining in my brother's truck (cuz he was smoking cigs like it was the damn end of the world and his life depended on it.).

Blu...I was all set to vote for the Crazy L Cal avatar. But the image of 93 hacking and coughing every time he sees your avatar is rather intriguing as a potential Pavlovian-esque scientific experiment. And due to the results of the last D-League scientific experiment...we are obviously in need of new test subjects.
