Don't discount those tendons. They can do some mighty fine coaching.I am not sure having a knee cap as coach is the way to go forward. Now Parella on the other hand is great, HOWEVER while last years D had some warts the d-line wasnt one of them. That was the lone bright spot.
Valentine would've stayed as he stated the reason he was forgoing his senior year was due to Hank Hughs. Hughs was rightfully fired by Riley as he didn't recruit and treated the players like garbage.Would it have made a difference in attitude last year if Patella was d line coach? Do you think there would have been less dis contentment and any of the guys that left might still be playing here this year?
