How about a Dabo/Venables combo to OU????
I'm thinking Dabo could own the sec if he came to OU as a head coach with obviously BV as his right hand man. An opportunity and "match made in heaven" imo. Dabo and Venebles are proven and don't carry any baggage either. Just a dream though.

Dabo's dream job is Bama, he is waiting til Saban retires then he will own the SEC. He would likely call them and explain to them it was an offer he got after his visits and he decided to take it. Next sentence out, come play Football for me at OU and lets build a NC Team! Players go to a School to play for a Coach, see the players that decommited from OU when LR left. Dabos and Brent V's recruits can always change their minds as well.
Well there are two houses for sale in Norman. I dont see this happening. Venables could be the head coach at either of those schools. He would double or maybe even triple his salary as a head coach
If this was to happen, OU should send LR a gift that said “ We just upgraded your overrated ***”
Without pressing, I made an enquiry concerning the favorite in the coaching search. I was told no one knows anything because Joe C & Co have kept the process between 3 only. Joe, Bob and OU Pres. It is likely that OU will not inform the leading candidate yet to maintain confidentiality. I was told on Wednesday that there would be no announcement until after CCG games this weekend. This indicates the leading candidate(s) have games this weekend.

How true is it that Dabo wants to follow Saban at Alabama ? OU must be very careful courting him.

Dabo already makes about 9 million a year. I dont see Ou paying him and BV to come to OU. The ACC has a much easier path to the playoffs than what OU would have. Doesnt make any sense for both to come to OU. Aint happening.
