I’m in the Stark minority… Maybe the only Gamecock fan alive…that actually doesn’t mind Dabo most of the time. In large part because I am more philosophically aligned with him than any other coach in the country when it comes to the modern state of college football. However, he walked right into this one.

Ouch.

Dabo's going to have another "final exam on the first day of class" when Clemson opens in Baton Rouge next year. That one should be fun to watch.

I’m sure it’ll be bulletin board material

Will they even have the game? I thought the 9 game schedule started next year?

As far as I know, it does start next year but (SEC teams only???) have to play at least 1 game against a power 4 team or Notre Dame....

Clemson would count as LSU's 1 game against a power 4 team, so I see no reason for them to cancel that game. Unless I'm missing something.

Not all power 4 games are equal. 🙂

I actually agree with Dabo that neither team played great, but the "they didn't play well, we just played worse" bit is a bad look.

I agree. Dabo did not have his team ready. There is no excuse with the portal to have a converted WR who has never pass blocked as the top option at RB. LSU exploited this and Clemson could not adjust so LSU kept the pressure up and Klubnik was running for his life all night. His WRs has some key drops but mostly he was under a lot of pressure. That sets squarely on Dabo and Rileys shoulders. I tend to align with Dabo on several things but he can be whiny and make excuses when things don't go his way. He hasn't adapted as much to the current state of college football as he needed to win the big games so Clemson will keep losing the majority of the big games until things change again or until he decides to change or hang it up and someone new comes along.

Why would you be getting a grade back for a FINAL exam on the FIRST day of class?
What a dumba**.

Classic Dabo, "you didn't beat us, we beat ourselves". I can't ever remember Dabo taking the blame for a loss. He always throws his players under the bus or whines about some unfairness or belittles the loss as not mattering.

Dabo is a clown cheerleader ego maniac who wants to be the center of attention. He recruits well and has an SEC roster in a cupcake conference so his record looks great. If UGA or LSU played Clemson's schedule every season, they would rarely lose a game.

Or shows up in the other team's locker room to "congratulate" them. No matter what happens he has to be the center of attention.

He's the only coach I've ever seen who runs out in front of his team when they come on the field. He is an attention ***** of the highest order.

Well, 17 is 70% higher than 10, so whatever grades Dabo assigns to the game, LSU's grade should be significantly higher than Clemson's. If Clemson made a 58 on that test, then a score 70% higher would have been a 98.

He's an ***.

Remember "The Rant" that he staged with that Fanboy David Hood?
