I never thought he was worth anywhere near what they paid him but I understood why they did it. Jerrah not getting any younger and it's almost impossible to draft a ready made QB who is going to be any better in the next few years....but that didn't make Dak an elite QB and that INT was BRUTAL. Yes….14 seconds is 3 plays at most and the plan there was to use 2 of them (a run and a spike) so that you could move the ball 10 yards closer to the end zone? Not a good play at all as you gain so little at such a high cost.

Had he slid at the 30 instead of the 24, he could have spiked it for one more play. Was going to be hard to throw it to the sidelines as the D had that covered & you couldn't throw it over the middle.

Because Dak should've only ran to the 30 instead of the 24 (plenty of time to spike then). Those extra 11 yards makes a decent difference I would think.
