If you had it and it was no big deal, that doesn't prove that others don't die from it. Similarly, if you go outside and it's cold, that doesn't prove that global warming isn't real. Also, because you voted for someone, doesn't prove the other person didn't win. And, because the earth looks flat to you, doesn't prove it isn't round.
If it’s warm doesn’t prove global warming either. See how that works. You should change your name to 1 gullibledumbass.

We had the same thing happen in February. I felt like I had been hit by a truck one morning with shortness of breath and cough. One rough day and a night of bourbon the next one and it was gone. The rest of the house got it and was in the bed a few days. All flu tests were negative and one of the ladies doing the swab told my daughter she could of sworn she had the flu. Oh well, we have none gotten it so far and hopefully I can get the shot before we do. Would hate to pack it in on my high risk parents.
Why don’t your high risk parents get the vaccine?

I listen to him 3-4 times a week. He's actually pretty good. And those that claim they don't like him, probably don't listen to him. Stay on the right side of the grass, DD.

To the contrary, statistically speaking, its not more dangerous than other viruses and a myriad of other things. Global warming is admittedly not real, which is why its now called "climate change". That way they can tell you ANY change is bad and they need more money. No one is using their vote as the reason one won and the other lost. There are many reasons to believe the winner didn't actually win...

The earth is round, so good for you on that one.

I wonder what would happen if the news reported on all deaths like they do covid...
Over 7k people die per day. If they reported on each of these deaths in the same manner, I bet some of you weasels would lock yourself in your home forever.

Contrary to popular belief, death was a thing before covid and will continue being a thing long after.

It just proves how easy it is for the government to brainwash some. It’s like we tell them...”don’t go in that room it’s a gas chamber.” They reply....”no it’s not it a shower. They told us to do it and I believe them more than you “.....All they have to do is say it’s for your own good and they give up any freedoms necessary. You know.... because it’s the right thing to do.

It’s hit my family right now. Symptoms and severity is different for each of us. My 13 year old son is positive and you can’t tell he’s sick. I am 52 along with my wife and it’s different symptoms each day for us. It’s the sickest I have been maybe in my life.

Seems to hit everyone different. I had it but had no fever or cough at any point, but I had awful muscle aches and bad shortness of breath. Walked myself to the ER at one point and my O2 sats were down to 88%. I'm 23 for reference

When my wife and I had it in June, we had different symptoms. She was achy and coughing, i just was all stopped up and had constant headaches. I lost my smell and taste for about two weeks, she never did lose her taste, but she did lose the sense of smell. It's been almost 6 months, she still has no sense of smell. I still get a headache everyday and get fatigued easy. Prior to this, i never had 10 headaches in my life

Considering most that died from it were very old and already sick with other things, like stage four cancer, they were going to be dead soon. Most of the deaths are as old or older than the life expectancy. The death rate for this year is nearly identical to other years. Most everyone that gets it has very few issues. You people are afraid of your shadow because someone told you to be. You won’t question authority because you’re a blind sheep too fkin stupid to think on your own.
You are quite correct that most of the victims are older but I still think it is a shame that this many elderly and doctors and nurses had to die and small businesses lost because the country did not take this seriously and people be polite enough to wear a mask.

I see most people wearing mask. I wear one at work and everywhere I go even though I don’t believe they help at all. I still got it and I’ve been a germaphobe my whole life. Fact is mask probably do nothing. That would explain why it still spread so much.

Here’s a real world example of things I notice all the time. Girl at the drive through has plastic gloves and cloth mask. She is waiting on my food to place in a bag. She grabs her cloth mask no less that four times and tugs on it and pulls it out several times. Now she has put germs all on those plastic gloves. She then grabs my food and puts it in the bag. What good did the mask do? It probably caused the spread more than had she not had one on. The virus can hang in the air probably for hours. Even with a mask it goes through and around it easy. If people are thinking the masks do anything they are mistaken. It’s a pacifier.

There were plenty of “educated” people that said mask do nothing. There were studies long before this virus that said they do nothing. Why are cases still going up with lockdowns and mask wearing? Hmm. Your answer would be to blame someone for not wearing the mask. Not that it could possibly be something like it doesn’t stop the virus. Put your mask on and let your buddy rip a fart 6 ft away and tell me the results. But I’m sure the mask stops viruses better than farts.

There are plenty of studies now that show masks do work. At worst, they reduce the viral load you get and that is key to how severe your reaction is to the virus. At best, they prevent you from getting the virus entirely. Literally zero downside to wearing a mask; only upside. That's a great risk-reward scenario to me.

I just had it and it’s not the automatic death sentence many want to make it out to be. Tired, no smell or taste... No big deal. The younger they are the more likely they not even know they have it. It’s been overplayed as a plague of biblical proportions.

different for different people you Trump loving denier. I had very mild symptoms, my boss was in ICU. It’s a real thing and COVID deaths are RECORDED as COVID deaths. N big cover up. It didn’t disappear Nov. 3. It’s gotten worse.

Because people like you don’t take it seriously, don’t wear masks and hide behind the verifiably false lies coming out of our “leadership”.

Im so angry with deniers that I could spit and punch you all in your maskless faces.

You know nothing about me you dumb ****. No one said it’s not real. No one said people aren’t dying. But I know for fact many deaths are from people almost dead from things like cancer. If you have days left to live because you smoked 5 packs a day and have stage four lung cancer, is it fair to say Covid caused their death? This happens all the time. In fact, most of the time there were very serious underlying reasons they died with Covid and not from Covid. You people are always looking for something to panic about. I swear, if these same people said shoes will kill you the dumbest of you would believe it without question. Some people are just meant to be controlled.

Yeah, I wore mine religiously and still got it. Viral load is bs. It’s like saying you can only get a little pregnant if you wear cheesecloth on your Johnson. The virus reproduces in your system at a rate until your immune system can overtake it.

IMO someone getting covid has lost its luster. We're all going to get it at some point or another - keeping it on blast is just fear mongering at this point.
I think the media thinks that if they keep repeatedly informing people about the hospitalizations, deaths, risks of not wearing masks and ignoring social distancing they will finally start listening.
Unfortunately about half the country gets their news from YouTube and only tunes into Fox periodically to watch a mask-free Trump rally with no social distancing. In their world, Covid is a hoax. There are millions in the U.S. who live in an alternate reality now.

It only works if everyone is wearing a mask, social distancing, and limiting exposure time.
If you wore a mask but others around you didn't...it's a lost cause.
If you wore a mask in public but someone you live with didn't, and you are together mask free in your house...its a lost cause.
If you wore it at church, but took it off when all your cousins came over mask free for Sunday dinner...it's a lost cause.

And I wonder why they are made from a material that doesn’t allow it to pass or go around easily. There’s a reason they aren’t made of paper or cloth. Now if you want to talk real world mask use? Most have large gaps. Most allow a virus to pass through easily. Most are extremely dirty from overuse. They are touched many times, spreading germs and viruses to the persons hands then moved to every surface they touch.

If you think the mask help then be honest...if a lab would offer you a million dollar to wear your normal mask and enter a room with a new virus that instantly turns you into a zombie, would you do it? How much confidence do you really have in it? I’m thinking you don’t and are just a male Karan that loves telling everyone to do as they’re told.

So have you worn one under the same conditions you laid out? Worn around every living soul you come in contact with? The only way to ensure not to catch it is live in total isolation. Or we can continue to live like we have throughout mankind’s long history and beat another virus like the millions before it. I personally refuse to live in constant fear.

the flaw in your smooth brain logic is that you equate anything that is less than 100% effective with something that is totally ineffective. We’re in December now and you still can’t grasp the concept of a mask. You’re beyond help. Your straw man zombie virus example example totally misses the point.

Yes, and if the virus starts off at a much lower viral load, your immune system has a much better chance to overtake it and prevent severe disease.

Of course it starts at a lower viral load retard. The viral load isn’t how much is entering your eyes or nose. It’s how much is present in your blood system as it reproduces. You’re immune system takes time to do it’s job. Depending on the person and their own immune systems the virus continues to spread until it’s overtaken and you begin to become immune to it.

Wow, pretty pointless going back and forth with you given you lack basic reading comprehension. It starts off at lower viral load when one wears a mask compared to not wearing one. Try and get educated on the subject.

It hits the point because you don’t trust the mask. The great god Fauci said the mask don’t work other that to stop a drop or two. Every time you breathe the virus goes up and around these mask. The virus can stay airborne for hours. That’s a simple fact. Do you think the mask somehow filters out the virus that’s in the cereal aisle at Walmart as you breathe in? The air you take in come through but mostly around the mask. That’s another fact. If you don’t breathe you got this beat. Otherwise you’re an idiot on nearly every level known to mankind.

No, the point is you’re an idiot. You’re talking about something your heard someone say but don’t understand any of it. You aren’t getting some mega does of virus that suddenly takes over. It doesn’t matter if someone sneezes in your face or you touch a doorknob and then rub your eyes. The virus will start to grow immediately. It’s still going to be low at first because it must reproduce over and over and over some more. The mask has absolutely nothing to do with the viral load or severity the virus will have in your body.
