Dale vs Bird

Considering that Dale has a much more dynamic offense and a defense that is just as good as Herm's. I'll keep my prediction, but I am almost willing to extend it to a 28-7 Dale win.
Dale is very good but I expect a close game with Herm. Herm has one of the best defenses in the area and they will stop some of the runs Bird couldn't. Due to weather conditions the passing game was not effective, a couple of passes to Tyree. They basically ran the wing-t all night and got some big runs up the middle. Bird had horrible field position all night giving Dale short driving opportunities. Penalties on kickoff returns or during the drive stopped any momentum Bird had. No answer for the DE #30 he was making plays or drawing holdings calls all night. Down 9-0 Bird had a chance late in the 2nd to make it a game. They had a strip sack picked it up and scored but the ref ruled he was down when he had possession of the ball. They drove and had a first and goal from the 10 but couldn't get it in. A TD there would have made it interesting.
Was baffled by the decision to try a FG on 4th and goal from the 4, especially given the conditions. Go for the TD, and even if you're stopped short Dale gets the ball on the 4 instead of getting it on the 20 after a missed FG.
