As a long-suffering Cowboys fan, I can laugh at this. Sad, but true.

Yeah it's either going to work great or horribly backfire. Ceedee is the man in Dallas so I can't see Pickens being super happy there.
I heard talk radio say it's a ticking timebomb because they aren't going to be able to pay him after this year because other players are due to be paid. I guess he might play hard for his next contract somewhere else but history says he's going to make sure he doesn't get hurt until someone pays him. Half a$$ routes, never blocks, makes the entire game about him, etc.
There is nobody on this board that I respect more than you dog. But I'm not going to lie. This changes things between us.
Dallas is and will continue to be a **** show. They may win 9 games.

I’ll preface with I’m not a Cowboys fan. I watched the game last night, from my perspective, it looked like everything was just loosey goosey and not being taken serious. CeeDee was all over the place goofing off, players with their arm around Schottenheimer during the game, laughing and cutting up. Granted it was a preseason game but I just thought it was odd.
Once again, Jerry has his puppet for a head coach.
I’m happy for Zion Childress making the roster as an UDFA, but that’s the limit of my positive feelings for the Cowboys.
The Cowboys are cooked at least until Jerry Jones dies, and depending on who takes over, maybe even afterwards.
So Zion Childress balls out for the Cowboys and makes the 53 Man Roster. Then the Cowboys cut him the next day.

I love the Cowboys but Jerry Jones is the reason they have sucked and can’t win a postseason game going on 20 years+. He can not run a team anymore. He waits till the last minute to sign stars and has to overpay them which straps them cap wise for the future. Now he trades away a generational defensive player in his prime instead of re signing him cheaper two years ago like any sane GM would have done.
Jerry would rather have headlines all season for anything rather than win anything.
Can this crap thread be moved to Rafters or the Paddock so the idiots can enjoy it??

Add not actually catching the ball after last night.
Some would argue that he cost them the game. Another personal foul on him for losing his cool when they were going in for a TD. They get backed up 15 yards, run a few more plays and then fumble. A TD there gives them more points than the eagles ended up with.
