Harris made the right decision, last year, at Bama he got a NC, at UK he would have got to watch the NC and every Bowl. Harris is going to be the speed back for Bama this year with a good chance of being the feature back next year or year after. I wish Harrris would have come to UK but anybody thinking he made the wrong decision choosing Bama over UK is crazy.

get pumped. This is a uk fan site, if you think going anywhere but uk is the right decision then you are in the wrong place.

Just being on the roster of a NC team and not contributing, would not make me think I had made the right decision.
Same goes for UK bb.

I was a UK fan before you were probably born. Just because you have a opinion does not necessarily make it the only viable opinion.

There is a backup longsnapper at Bama that also got a NC. That part of your post is true. The rest is a prediction. Time will tell.

Please shoot me and put me out of my misery if I starting saying my opinion is relevant because of my age.

Without commenting on your acumen, 78, for some that might read "I was a dumb UK fan before you were born." The amount of time you have reportedly cheered for UK, does not add credibility, in my old opinion.

Financially the best decision? A championship but possibly not getting to show case his talent and preparation for a career in the NFL? Can definitely be debated. But getting prepared on the sidelines over being on the field seems like a steep hill to climb.

Did you read my original post, I was just responding because another poster implied that I was not a good UK fan because I made a comment that Harris made the best decision based on

And your opinion is stupid if you think UK was a better option for Harris than Bama.

If Harris never showcases his talent at Bama what he would have done at UK would probably not have get him drafted anyway. He will have better players around him at Bama so if he cannot make it there he is not going to be relevant in Lexington. I wish he would have chose UK but I cannot fault him for choosing.Bama.

I don't know, his memories of being on the field doing what he loves would seem to be more rewarding than standing on a sideline most of his college days.

Really hoping DH plays against UK this year, and I hope our D is good enough to really lay the wood into him.

You're on the wrong board. This is a uk board, not a Bama board.

I sure wish the mods would ban all DH threads. Who cares about where he goes to school or how he does there? Certainly not me. Move on people, there is no future in living in the past!

That is faulty logic. If Harris is blocked at Bama, he'll never get the in-game reps to fully develop his ability. At another school, he would most likely get those reps, increasing his chances at playing in the NFL. The point is that you can be an NFL caliber athletic talent, but it won't matter if you're buried on a depth chart with no outlet for your talents.

Never mind the fact that Bama may be a great place to get rings, but it's evidently not a place that produces great NFL backs, at least in the Saban era.

What everyone is trying to tell you is that if Harris may never see the field because Bama brings in the best of the best every year, it may not be the best decision for him. The same can be said for UK basketball, but players can go pro and they can't in football.

Listen I hope Harris never sees the field because I wanted him here and also the way he played us. I was just trying to make the point I think he made the best choice based on projected potential.

For the 1000th time for the Harris/Bama fans:

We ALL get why hed go to Bama. Its how he played the process that made everyone pissed. In fact, Id say most of us wouldve cheered him on there had he been respectful about his decision and the process.
