Feels like this game might’ve been for “the middle of the pack B1G team scrapping for the NCAA tourney” spot.

Cam Spencer would’ve looked mighty nice at NU. Anyone have any insight as to how he ended up at Rutgers after his brother played at NU and he played under former NU assistant Tavares Hardy at Loyola-Maryland?

I can find some silver linings this morning. Every NU team for five years would have folded much earlier under Rutgers’ pressure. Beran and Berry both hit big shots to keep us in the game when Rutgers was threatening to break it open. This didn’t feel like a choke — both teams forced a lot of mistakes and we were the last to mess up this time.

We would have lost this game by 15 in the last two seasons.

There was a very clear path to minutes at Rutgers. With Audige and Boo returning, and so many other wings on the roster (including Simmons), the path at NU was less clear.

Get that, I’m wondering the extent to which we were involved in his transfer recruiting (if at all).
