There is not one aspect of this team that is impressive. Blown out in back to back games. How can anyone be happy with what they are seeing? It will be worst next season.

This team is getting destroyed in this conference. You are clueless. I read your posts. You are not football smart at all. I mean seriously this is a horrible program at the moment.

1. Bring home RR.
2. Some assistant off of a elite program. Oklahoma State is not elite. They had one great year.
3. Memphis coach.

Memphis coach would be good so would Matt Campbell of Toledo. Urban Meyer is really high on Matt Campbell. Bo pelina could be a wild card candidate he never failed to win at least 9 games at Nebraska was fired more because of his brash personality then his on the field performace

This is a sub 500 conference program. It has done a good job replacing Colorado as a punching bag.
Even the Buffaloes won a Big 12 title and lost in the championship game on 3 other occasions. They went 61-63 in conference play during their time in the league, and really only fell on hard times the last 5 seasons.

Holgorsen could only dream of having Colorado's success in the Big 12.

I don't care who you bring in, WV will never be much more than what it is now.

Wvu recruiting is similar to that of Tcu, okie state, baylor, t tech, the only teams that consistently out recruit us are Texas and Oklahoma. Kstate classes are never rated high according to rivals but we haven't beaten them since joining the conference. Tcu came to the big 12 from the Mountain west they took there lumps but every one knew Gary Patterson was a good coach and they have adjusted. Holgorson's coaching ability was unknown we might not have the ability to recruit Texas but we have always recruited Florida well and Florida athletics are superior to Texas athletics

I don't think it will be either. We have the one great year here and there, but we just can't recruit well enough to be a top 10 team year in and year out. When a lot of people realize that there will be les bit@@ing on here

No legitimate poster has ever made a demand that WVU be a Top 10 team year after year.

When the Holgorsen PR flacks stop trotting out that straw man we'll have a lot less complaining, because then you'll have to defend him on actual merit...which is getting harder to do all the time.

I'm not asking for top ten finishes. There is no reason this program can't win 8 most years and at least play within 17 points of the elite programs.

What is the difference between Bayor and us? Coaching, plain and simple.

none of them can evaluate talent!!! why give out full ride to someone that can not play the position. why is a QB running end or RB. if they cannot do the job pull them and give scholly to someone that can. i am tired of
empty promises. we deserve wins. they are getting paid to provide and
players are getting education worth thousands of dollars too. time to pay the piper

I agree its all coaching the people who make excuses about why where not winning consistently bring up things like recruiting and the fact that we can't compete with the other Big 12 schools on that front. If they where to actually take the time to research how rivals has ranked wvu classes over the last 4-5 years. The classes collectively are comparable to TCU, Baylor, Okie state and Ttech. None of these schools are coming anywhere near to top ten classes on an annual Basis. Texas and Oklahoma are the only 2 schools that are considerable better than us in recruiting and Kansas state never has highly rated recruiting classes but we've never beaten them

You are an idiot. DickRod gets his *** beat 49-3 by a pathetic Washington team, and you want to bring him back because Dana loses to two top 5 teams back to back? Then you have the gull to call other posters clueless?

And please tell me, what has DickRod done since losing Pat White, Steve Slaton, and Owen Schmidt? You are clueless

That a washed up argument.

What has Belichick DONE as a head coach without Brady ?? Get fired.

...yet he's still considered one of the best coaches in the NFL.

You can't be serious? Brady is just one player, and Belichick has had to replace many stars and still has one the top team in the NFL year in and year out

DickRod got fired at MeChicken and has done almost nothing in an under manned Pac12 south. Hell he just lost back to back games to two awful Washington teams with one a crushing defeat at the hands of UW.

The argument is not washed up and still remains a fact. DickRod has done nothing since losing those three players.

Baylor is having an incredible run. WVU has had incredible runs too. Nearly every program in college football can make the same flawed argument (if they can, why can't we?).

I still believe Dana knew from day one his offense was going to struggle this year at times. I think he was banking on the defense keeping us in games but with the loss of Joseph it kind of went down hill fast.

When we were an overachieving team in an under-appreciated conference we had some moments in the sun that we all loved.

But now that we are in a conference where there is more "big boy" football across the board we are finding our level. Our coach has a middle of the pack salary and our facilities are not in the top half of the conference.

We are a mediocre P5 program. Sometimes we'll flash toward the top. But WV ain't Mecca for anything but a bunch of delusional football fans. Deal with it.
