Anybody know what's up with DD? I know his senior year wasn't what he wanted and he had some injuries over the years, but he started a lot of games for Nebraska. Any chance he gets a shot at NFL Europe or Canadian ball? Does he even want to continue to play? I think he graduated in December, so maybe is already working in his field. Anyway, seemed like a good kid that we never hear about anymore.

Would love to Riley use some CFL connections and get him a shot in the CFL. He could play up there, same with Jack Gangwish.

CFL starts in June, it's fun to follow in the summer.

I would hope Riley wouldn't use his connections for a guy that can't cut it. He has integrity for a reason.

This seems like a strange thread. He is a young man with a ton of ability - He is young and though playing in position lost some confidence. Or so it is said. He was working out recently with renewed enthusiasm; he has outstanding ability - I don't know if its played out yet - but I believe he was using N facilities; so we don't abandon our players - and these coaches will do what can be done realistically. Davie ran a sub 4.4 at a Midwest pro scout combine. I think that likely prompted some scouts to look harder at his film. However, once they saw his ball skills, they likely shut it off.

he's got good length to go with that speed. I won't be surprised to see somebody offer a free agent contract to see what he can do in camp. I thought a lot of Davie's issues were as much a confidence and confusion problem as anything. I wish him well.

All are correct here; and he gets it and has help to correct it. This is his shot;
Not all have his attributes; but you can't just escort them

Wow! Those 2 getting a look is very surprising.
It's a tryout invitation. Davie signed as a free agent. The other three I believe just got invites to rookie minicamp. Teams I follow usually choose only one or two those invitees to sign them to the 90 man off-season roster.
