He was given a verbal offer back in the day. Question is, did he get a written offer after Aug. 1 when they're permitted - which really says a school wants you. Haven't seen anything that says they did.

Who gives a crap? Seriously. Who freaking cares?

Will he still come if stoops is fired like some of you want ?

Stoops WILL NOT be fired this year, and with the players he has coming back, he should have a pretty good year, next year.

Who says Clark isn't dual threat?

I don't understand why ESPN ranks him among "Dual-threat" QBs while also hearing this. Their prospect description for Clark is that "he looks eerily similiar to Dak Prescott".

Prescott ran a 4.79 40 in the NFL combine, and yet, I would say that he was always a threat to run with the ball while at MSU.

Well Clark thinks he's pro style from videos of him I've heard. That doesn't mean he can't/won't run. Despite his limited success here, I'd say Towles is an example of that.

Let's all chip in to help him get that OSU tattoo removed! Seriously I wouldn't ask him to do that but it would be really cool if he were to get a UK tattoo to go with it.
Let's not. Pretty sure the National Communists Against Athletes might have a problem with fans "chipping in." Like someone else said he can wear that OSU tatt with pride for all I care.

Awesome news. I think Clark has the potential to grow into the kind of QB we have lacked around here since the Woodson days.

That was the fake word? Odd.
That's like a player that commits to UL over UK even though they didn't hold an offer from UK. I forget who did that but it was really funny. We can't say he committed to UK over OSU if he didn't have a written offer. I mean it is a little weird that OSU hadn't talked to him in a long time which was his reasoning for decommiting. With that said he was a much needed pick up at a position in need. I'm a lot more excited about Jarren Williams though to be honest.

Think your sarcasm detector is broken. (But I do like your definition of the NCAAA).

Rather would have signed a O or D lineman
The fact that Stoops and staff accepted Mac Jones verbal commitment a long time ago tells me that they were planning to a QB in this class all along. And yes, I realize that Walker Wood is a QB at Lafayette, and they'll probably give him an honest shot at QB, but people who know more about him and recruiting in general than I do generally say he'll get moved to the Safety spot on D.

Combine this with the fact that is not known if Barker will make a full recovery or not, and it would irresponsible of the staff not to take a QB in this class.

Clark has the look of a great athlete, and I've seen OSU fans on other boards mention that he's a high-character young man. Their loss is our gain as far as I'm concerned.

OSU can't get every good QB. Whether OSU offers does not define whether a kid is a great recruit. Happy about Clark. Excited to see him in blue. Can he early admit?

I also wonder whether grad QBs will look at UK this December. The pieces are in place for a good team and QB could be a competition this spring.

I dont care if OSU didnt talk to him lately the fact that he was a verbsl to them and they accepted that verbal means he was goid enough yo play for them!! Clark is going to be a good one but I cant wait for Jarren Williams.

OSU signed two five star QB's that are both better fits for OSU's read option offense, after Clark had committed. He still wanted to go to OSU but the writing was on the wall that he would struggle to see any PT. Thus, he decommitted and looked for other options that would be a better fit for him.

Great pick-up for the cats!

Given U.K current situation with a juco struggling to throw, Barker looks iffy and now has a back injury and lightly recruited Gunner Hoak.....we need a talented 4stsr qb to compete at that spot in a bad way
