I believe it should be up to the players if they care to play in another tournament.

So WVU was first team out. That really stings considering their resume was better than many teams that got in.

NCAA tourney is about $$$$. And the sad fact is that UNC brings in more than WVU when it comes to basketball, even though their resume was not even close to ours. But to listen to the "experts", UNC had a lot of early "close" losses.

Texas lost to SEC last place 2-16 team so it's obvious it was a tough conference and 6-12 gets you in easily.

The NCAA tournament is too bloated anyway. No team ranked lower than an 8th seed has ever won it and the #1 seeds have 5 times as many tournament championships as the #2 seeds. The top 4 seeds have won it over 92% of the time since the tournament expanded in 1985.
