With the uncertainty of Urban Meyer in Columbus shouldn't WVU put a full court press on Darnell Wright to stay home.

Especially if Meyer is shown the door it would be a shame if another school grabs him from WVU's fingertips.

Yep. And make no mistake, Meyer will be the coach of Ohio State until he chooses not to be. By him releasing that carefully crafted letter and the administration's non knee jerk reaction to this matter, Ohio State seems to have thwarted the social justice pricks by giving the internet a day or two to lose its collective attention span.

What a shame WVU couldn’t get an instant impact left tackle from the home state. Need to get more good WV kids. This is priority. I think WVU coaches are now finally realizing this.

Last year we GOT Stills (#2) who was highly regarded and ranked. HE wanted to stay in WV and go to the State school. He respected the coaching staff, the State, and the University. He stayed 'home' because he wanted to. IT appears Wright does not possess such characteristics. He is NOT in EVU's 'fingertips' just waiting to he firmed into our grasp. From looking at that which has been said by him and then written by many, he is as far from our grasp as kids living thousands of miles from Morgantown.

We didn’t identify how good Wright was early on in his 9-10th grade years. WVU overlooks too many kids in WV until other schools get in and then they get in and take notice. It should have never took so long to get Kerry Martin offered. They are now realizing they need to get after these kids early by offering the big South Charelston kid already. That kid is going into 10 grade.

WVU may need to get on 9th grade RB at RCB in Clarksburg Jeremiah King this fall once he shows how seriously big time he is. This kid is the next great RB in WV high school football. He’s in North Central WV so I think they will easily land him but don’t take chances. Get after him quick. Trust me he will get big attention once the secret gets out.

Also Bridgeport RB/LB Jake Bowen needs offered. He is a bigger version of the Tonkery brothers with the same speed. WVU must do a better job identifying in state guys that can help them. Bowen could be a full back or LB at WVU. He has the frame to put on 20-30 more pounds and he’s already strong built. He’s about 6-1. Get this kid offered. He’s going to have another monster year at a outstanding program.

You have to remember that there are not that many "good WV kids."

Oh they have some good WV kids. It’s not a big state like Ohio, PA but we have some good players every year to get. C’mon the talent is on rise lately as well.

You are so full of crap. Our coaches know every kid in the state and have evaluated them accordingly.
