I'm sure most have seen Darryl hammond as Sean Connery, what's your take on him being the beloved fried chicken King? Some people are actually pissed with the ads including the guy in lexington who bought the franchise from sanders. He was dead before I was born, but they say he cussed like a sailor and would not of liked the commericals. What about you do you like them, or feel they are insulting the colonel?

First of all, he weren't no military Colonel like they say. That was just some honorary title the Governor gave him at a time when they were being handed out right and left like candy. But I like fried chicken alright, especially mama's.

So, the guy who purchased the franchise and then sold the stock to Yum doesn't like it? File that under tough ish; he lost his right to complain when he ceded control to Yum (or whatever the specific order of events was).

I don't like the commercial(s) either but given that I don't want my cholesterol to be 4 digits, I'm not eating KFC anyway to it isn't going to impact me. I may like fried chicken, but it don't like me.

Did ol' Colonel Angus every regale you with the tale of the time he ventured north to Kentucky? There were breasts, legs and thighs as far as the eye could see. One might even say it was a buffet of sorts. Now, Colonel Angus can be greasy, and sometimes even crispy, but he had never seen so much creamy gravy in one place before, and I made sure to make myself known in every nook and cranny where the bluegrass was on the field.

Why was Colonel Angus so popular with the ladies? Well, the story goes, once a lady is introduced to Colonel Angus- that ol' Carpetbagger - they are stunned by his charms... But if Colonel Angus overstays his welcome at Shady Thickett, or rub those the wrong way, why ...tap him on the head and he'll be on his way.
