Bottom line is Aranda 6-7 and that's the Baylor future. But I will say Baylor will not waste any time firing him. This was a bad year for him and it's still better than Kneel.

Baylor was expected to compete for a conference title some picked them as a dark Horse playoff team and they ended up with a losing record. The guy inherited a good situation from Matt Rhule so getting off to a good start wasn't that difficult. This years Baylor team was the most reflective of his tenure and look what happened. Mel Tucker at Michigan State is another one they were 5-7 this season. You really don't get a sense of how good your coach is until year 4-5. I have watched Baylor on several occasions and I'm not impressed with Aranda. LSU passed on this guy twice and from what I have seen of him I'm not surprised. He still might turn out to be a good hire but I doubt it. Kansas State got a good coach in Klieman year 4 and look where they are. If we would have hired Aranda I don't think are situation would be any better than it is today. This was a bad year for him and it's still better than Kneel.
Vault why haven't you chimed in? This Troll thread of yours hasn't aged well. Baylor was supposed to be a dark horse playoff team what happened? I though Aranda was a great hire2-7
11-2
Now that was a GREAT hire

He lost to Neal for second time. This was a bad year for him and it's still better than Kneel.
That is like losing to the Washington Generals. He lost to Neal for second time.
I'm not disagreeing but when Baylor has a "******" season and it is still better than ours it just lends some depth to how putrid we are now.Baylor was expected to compete for a conference title some picked them as a dark Horse playoff team and they ended up with a losing record. Yet he can't beat the worst WVU coach in nearly 50 years.I'm not disagreeing but when Baylor has a "******" season and it is still better than ours it just lends some depth to how putrid we are now.
