Harping is going to be special. As game is progressive she seems to get more comfortable. A nice drive under the basket dribbled onendribble and then a turn around sweet jump shot (not sure I described it accurately but impressive).
Offense seems stagnant. Dribble off high screen and everyone else is stagnant. Have to have great one on one plays for that to be consistently effective.
Missing handful of FTs.
Clardy has large black kneed pad on- maybe she's not at 100%.

A 13-0 Carolina run in the first 2:20 of the 2nd quarter. TQ—- SMOOTH and a big jump from last year. Hello Gabby White.
Taissa could be big for us this year. 2-for-2 on threes. Not touching rim at all.
Not to overstate a 3 of 4 sample size, but if Quieroz and White are going to be 3pt threats this year, that elevates our ceiling significantly.

based on this Gabby will definitely get her minutes. Won’t be surprised if she breaks the starting line up later in the season.

We are +5 on off rebounds, +9 in 2nd chance points, even on TOs, so in total we are +7 on shots taken, That is a good recipe for winning. But we have conceded 52% FGs to Davidson. Easy shots have negated decent overall basketball.

That would mean supplanting either Kelly or Harpring. But I fully believe she will be in the rotation after today, especially if she continues to hit threes.
She is clearly ahead of Zubich and Barker, which is probably not a surprise to anyone. Brooks and Hull started today, ahead of her. But it remains to be seen where Clardy and Burrows will stand in the pecking order.
The depth on this team is going to be incredible. We likely have 11, maybe 12 players who would get major minutes on any ACC team; the large majority would start on most teams.
I could care less about our offense rn. Our defense is why Davidson has hung around. We're clearly more talented and athletic than them. We're just giving up a ton of open shots. CB can hopefully get them settled at halftime.
I think a lot of the problem is the newish/inexperienced. A lot of the open threes are simply miscommunication. That will be better as you play someone else other than yourself. Rebounding will be fine with Toomey, Burrows, and Clardy back.
Harpring currently leads the team in points, shots, 3pt attempts, rebounds, Assists, Fouls, steals, turnovers and minutes.

6 missed layups for the Heels in the final 2 minutes of the 3Q. Heels lead 52-48. Essentially a 7-man rotation right now.
Defense was much better in 3rd quarter. We have missed so many shots around the rim. But love the hustle and intensity. Gabby brings it every play!

CBs comparison of Gabby W and Nivar are spot on in many ways. Even the FTs!
Sound like she is pressing too much. The same way that Terrence Brown and Matt A. did last week against USC. She will be fine. She just needs to calm down and relax and let the game come to her.
