Fun game to watch. The new offense has looked pretty good. Still a few kinks, but a big improvement over the beginning of the season. Davie didn't punt all night. Defensively, it was a struggle, but they made the plays when they had to. Nice win, and great effort.

1995, they've implemented a lot more screen passes and short passes across the middle instead of throwing it 20 yards downfield every play. They've also started spreading the ball around instead of only throwing it to #9 every time. I know he's great, but it's been nice to see other guys get a chance. The running game looked the best tonight it's looked all year. It's the offense everyone has been asking for.
I have attended all of Mount Tabor football games this year and out side of East Forsyth Davie is the best offense I have seen. Better than Reagan, better than West, Better than North Davidson.
It looked like MT mixed up coverages and brought a lot of pressure and Davie still could not be stopped. The QB for Davie is a tough nut. Tabor consistently laid some hard but legal hits in him and each time he got up and was ready to go again.
Davie did have to punt once and Diablo returned it to inside the five and tabor scored two plays later.
Great game for fans of offense as Davie could not stop tabor much either. Game could have easily went to OT if Tabor had just a little more time to stay with their running game on their last possession.
It's hard to believe people have been giving this coach staff a hard time this season. They have put together a well coached team that looks like they are playing with confidence.

That isn't the offense they were running earlier this season. That's the offense everyone was begging for. Credit to the coaches for changing things up. I've been as critical about them as anyone, but I've enjoyed seeing how they've adjusted and gave the team a chance to play the style that best fits them.
If Davie beats Parkland they will be playoff bound. Their record will be 3-3/5-6 reporting 5-5. May even put Davie ahead of other teams reporting 5-5 records.
