If u can make yourself watch the game again while McClain is laying on ground hurt it shows Dawson laughing with the head coach and the running back that hurt him. Classless jerk!!! I don't care what he did yesterday glad he's out of here.

man you all are brutal!! Yes we loss and yes I'm pissed but dang one of our players were laying motionless for a few seconds while the other team and ex coach laughed about it. That ticks me off because I'm a CATS fan win or lose!!

I think he was laughing at the fact that Stoops used him as a scapegoat for last season's woes and he ended up getting some sweet redemption against his former boss and the fan's that believed Stoops' coachspeak and blame deflecting.

Yeah, not buying that either. Can't believe any coach would laugh about a player being injured under any condition.

He was laughing cause he probably just looked at the $550,000 check Mitch handed him for not coaching UK this year. Then he probably pissed his pants laughing about Mitch giving him another $550,000 for not coaching UK in 2017!

I doubt Dawson was laughing because of a player getting hurt. He out coached our defensive staff and you know it had to feel good to him. Stoops fired him and it had to be embarrassing to get fired after one season. Look how many times our secondary were confused and out of position during the second half. He made the adjustments he needed to and his offense put up 520 yards on the " defensive guru" that made him the scape goat for last season.

As classless as stoops saying one dropped interception (throwing our player under the bus) was the issue?

If you think he was laughing because a player was hurt ..well ...you might be a moron. He's not Dr. Evil, I'm fairly certain that's NOT the reason you apparently saw him laughing.

And you've gotta admit the situation is something else. Last year Stoops (and our fans) make him the scapegoat to blame for our woes. And in his VERY FIRST GAME after we fired him he completely sticks it in our face and shows he actually is a good OC when not coaching UK. That's called instant redemption.

And all while we're still paying him big fat checks, so in essence we paid him to kick our *** last night. Who in his position wouldn't be laughing after a night like that?

If you think coaches were laughing because a kid was hurt then that says more about you than them.

Yeah, I think that Dawson was so happy that he didn't even realize that McClain was hurt.

No coach would laugh at that...

When Dawson was hired by Southern Miss, I feared this would happen and now I'm starting to believe that there may indeed be a curse on UK football.

I'm sure he wasn't laughing at the injury. It was a break in the action and they were probably laughing how they were about to run the same play for the umpteenth time And UK still couldn't stop it. Coaches aren't that heartless.

To tell the truth, I laughed a lot in the 2nd half. All I could do

Let's also not give Dawson too much credit. I mean, my 3 year old nephew could have figured out that all we had to do to beat UK was run the ball. Anytime your running back, any running back, can pick up 4 or 5 yards per carry then you're going to have a pretty good day.

This is exactly why I don't post here much. I made a statement about something I noticed during the game when I watched it back. Then everyone on here has to be an *** and call me a moron etc.... Grow up. It's just my opinion and if you didn't think that's what happened then fine read the next post. Damn!!

OT but does anybody know why several of the USM staff had penalty flags hanging from their pockets? One of them was jumping up and down and waving it wildly in the officials face after a possible violation by a UK player and then the official threw a late flag.

He wasnt' laughing at the kid getting hurt but he clearly was laughing at the hit with the guy that hit him basically saying "you laid him out". Noticed it clearly at the time an commented on it. Again he wasn't laughing that our guys was hurt but at the time it wasnt' clear that McClain was ok and it was just another immature reaction from the guy.

He should be laughing. We'd completely stopped everything he'd tried to do. Then he starts running the same 2 plays over and over; and we never make adjustments to stop it.

I'd laugh too.

i thought he showed composure. he could have been laughing the entire 2nd half as he ran the same play over and over again and made up a 17 pt deficit.

He got the last laugh but he was about to cry the first half, so we scared him, as for Mumme, he's just patting his boy on the back. He's a cheater so who cares what he thinks.:stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

That bugged me. I hope he just was not thinking. Otherwise, he looked like a real putz.

One sad thing about losing is reading all the attempts at creative snarkiness and cuteness. Most are complete fails. Sadder than watching UK blow a 25 point lead. Hope these are all UL fans pretending to be UK fans.

I don't think that you're a moron...

The same thing crossed my mind at the time, but after thinking about it, no coach besides Bobby Petrino would celebrate the injury of an opposing player.

What I don't understand was so many folks calling for Dawson's head last year, but now we are getting pissed. Screw Dawson. I want to start winning games. No excuses any more

He will really be laughing next year- when we are stuck with a $12 million dollar dead coach walking Stoops- and open the season in Hattiesburg against Southern Miss.
