man you all are brutal!! Yes we loss and yes I'm pissed but dang one of our players were laying motionless for a few seconds while the other team and ex coach laughed about it. That ticks me off because I'm a CATS fan win or lose!!
I think he was laughing at the fact that Stoops used him as a scapegoat for last season's woes and he ended up getting some sweet redemption against his former boss and the fan's that believed Stoops' coachspeak and blame deflecting.

He was laughing cause he probably just looked at the $550,000 check Mitch handed him for not coaching UK this year. Then he probably pissed his pants laughing about Mitch giving him another $550,000 for not coaching UK in 2017!

I doubt Dawson was laughing because of a player getting hurt. He out coached our defensive staff and you know it had to feel good to him. Stoops fired him and it had to be embarrassing to get fired after one season. Look how many times our secondary were confused and out of position during the second half. He made the adjustments he needed to and his offense put up 520 yards on the " defensive guru" that made him the scape goat for last season.
Please don't disrespect a fine cartoon character like that.

Fans wanted to blame Dawson for all of last year and a win would have cemented that thought , well that didn't work out . Now we're searching for anything to blame on him for a false sense of redemption . He won and proved his point , it's over .

If you think he was laughing because a player was hurt ..well ...you might be a moron. He's not Dr. Evil, I'm fairly certain that's NOT the reason you apparently saw him laughing.
And you've gotta admit the situation is something else. Last year Stoops (and our fans) make him the scapegoat to blame for our woes. And in his VERY FIRST GAME after we fired him he completely sticks it in our face and shows he actually is a good OC when not coaching UK. That's called instant redemption.

Let's also not give Dawson too much credit. I mean, my 3 year old nephew could have figured out that all we had to do to beat UK was run the ball. Anytime your running back, any running back, can pick up 4 or 5 yards per carry then you're going to have a pretty good day.

OT but does anybody know why several of the USM staff had penalty flags hanging from their pockets? One of them was jumping up and down and waving it wildly in the officials face after a possible violation by a UK player and then the official threw a late flag.

He wasnt' laughing at the kid getting hurt but he clearly was laughing at the hit with the guy that hit him basically saying "you laid him out". Noticed it clearly at the time an commented on it. Again he wasn't laughing that our guys was hurt but at the time it wasnt' clear that McClain was ok and it was just another immature reaction from the guy.
