Espn isn't worth watching.
OSU putting 4 freshman in the finals. Hard to argue with their results.
Absolutely in tournament matches.
If they want to do the 30 second choice rounds in regular season duals, sure.
Do full 2 min SV periods until someone breaks in the tournament

We all have an expiration date. The key is getting out to enjoy some semblance of life before it swallows us whole. Maybe it's the Brands time to enjoy the fruits and fun of wrestling in a more positive and fun light. It's such a demanding sport for even the best of men.

I think you need to call it like you see it. Max didn't take too many committed shots. Totally fair. He played the feeling out game a few times, and Ferrari went 3 point stance or knee on the ground. What exactly do you do in that case? I think it is bush for the interviewer to involve himself after, but have no problems with the athlete talking some trash. I dont think there is near the Iowa hatred as before, but Ferrari is just insufferable. Put some digits on the scoreboard before being a clown. At least Tsirtsis kept his mouth shut when he was boring as hell. Its so frustrating with him. He has amazing defense. He can scramble like crazy. He has a decent finish rate when he shoots. Its like if John Daly would have taken an iron off of every tee. Makes no sense.

Expanding on this, I dont get Ferrari's game plan in that match, or in general. With only 7 seconds of riding time and the other guy already a stall warning, why not go neutral and come at him for 30 seconds? Elite D and scrambler, i like his chances at a takedown or at least forcing a stall, and its a W in either case.
More generally, dude is an elite talent but seems to prefer taking a match to rideouts, where the weakest part of his game gets exposed. Trust the skills and go win these matches.

Also, where did Arnold disappear to?
That scramble from Trumble and Ghadiali was ridiculous…and both coaches have a brick on the mat
Really I just try to speak in way that the Brands sycophants won't try to light me on fire with their torches. Really everyone that I respect here as posters have come to some rational conclusion that something needs to change but Corby, MSU, et. al, roam and its a stink you cant get off yorself interacting with rationally.

They have a new young coach that knows modern wrestling. Taylor coaches them up, might I say Carlesk.
Taylor is the real deal, obviously.
What is the math on this with realistic expectations. Assuming Mendez wins and Davino loses. We have more in the consi, but Drake has a buzzsaw next round so I am anticipating him and Mikey as losses. I haven't studied the other guys yet, but I assume Angelo wins first match and then has a rematch with Sinclair.
I love the Brands, but it's time. Last night when our wrestler was not winning, Terry said, "Don't shoot unless it is 'undefendable'." They've lost their edge. Most of us saw it coming. When Brand's own son didn't wrestle like a Brands, somethings been lost. But here we are again, another year outside the top 3, with zero B1G or NCAA champs. Multiple freshman beating our butts. And by reading threads like this too much of the fan base is feeling pretty good about the results.
