Day 2, WCWS. Florida 7-0 over LSU. Sooners will start around 9:00.

Game 5, which is the first game of the day started at 6:00 and won't be over til 8:20 at the earliest. So we won't start until 30 minutes after this ends. Right now, it's 6-0 Florida, who is getting a lot of breaks. Doesn't break my heart for anybody to pound LSU. But the Gators bats are breaking out. Putting only 2:30 between games, which anticipates a 2 hour game, is a little optimistic these days.

After a 2 run homer put UF up six, LSU is changing pitchers again. OU will likely not start much before 9 p.m.

Florida looks great. And their soph pitcher, whose ERA is under 0.40, looks tough. Don't know if it's better to play teams from your own conference or tougher if you're really good. But they look great at the plate, great on defense and great in the circle. OSU beat them in their regional, and Bama beat them in game one of the Supers, but this looks like a different team.
