Daylight Savings Time sucks

Well except for being the cosmically perfect alignment for life to happen, yes they do suck.
Life isn’t dependent on axial tilt and an elliptical solar orbit. If Earth had a circular orbit and an axis perpendicular to that orbital plane there would still be life, just no seasons.

Want more daylight? Get your happy a$$ up earlier or migrate to follow the longest day. Sheesh...

there's no real logic behind your complaints

no real logic for it either save maybe agriculture or war, but not so applicable anymore

If it wasn’t for daylight savings time, it would be 5:15 in the morning (in Lexington) when the sun comes up in June, wouldn’t it? Eff that.

Thank God for Earth’s elliptical orbit, as without it winters in the northern hemisphere would be even colder.
With a circular orbit and no axial tilt, all corresponding (ie equidistant) latitudes above and below the equator would have the same basic climate.

It’s the same thing either way, numbskull.
No it isn't. Even though Lexington is in the same time zone as all of Florida it will be at a different time in the winter. If they stayed on standard time we would be a different time in the summer. Indianapolis used to be that way when they didn't go to daylight savings time. If you were going there for something you had to take time of year into account as to when it exactly started.

Daylight savings time objectively sucks!

I can't believe everyone doesn't agree with that!

Springing forward is good and that is the time we should stick with all year.

The practice was created 100 years ago and is now outdated and unnecessary.

I would vote for any candidate in any election with a stated goal to stop changing clocks around. Pick a time and stick on it. Since I am at work I don’t care what time the sun comes up, but I would like to have daylight when I get off work so whatever time is picked that’s how I would like it.

Daylight Saving Time is great.

Stupidly "falling back" in the fall is what sucks. Just spring forward and stay there for good.

Florida looks to be making the change. Daylight Savings time was for agriculture, and I just don't see any reason to keep it this way. Too many businesses benefit from more hours at the end of the day. Plus mental health. No one is happy leaving work at 6pm when it's dark out at 4pm.
