Fixed it, thanks.First thread in the Paddock and you misspell a word in the title.
The Earth’s 23 degree axis tilt and elliptical solar orbit is what sucks.
Life isn’t dependent on axial tilt and an elliptical solar orbit. If Earth had a circular orbit and an axis perpendicular to that orbital plane there would still be life, just no seasons.Well except for being the cosmically perfect alignment for life to happen, yes they do suck.
This.Daylight Saving Time is great.
Stupidly "falling back" in the fall is what sucks. Just spring forward and stay there for good.

You don't get anymore daylight. Good grief. Only the clock changes, not daylight.I love the extra hour of daylight. What sucks is it getting dark at 5:30pm in the winter months.

I'm not waking up before 7:30. So yes, I do get more daylight. You don't get anymore daylight. Good grief. Only the clock changes, not daylight.
Perfect weather.Life isn’t dependent on axial tilt and an elliptical solar orbit. If Earth had a circular orbit and an axis perpendicular to that orbital plane there would still be life, just no seasons.
It's this job thing I have that requires me to be there at the same time everyday.Want more daylight? Get your happy a$$ up earlier or migrate to follow the longest day. Sheesh...
Thank God for Earth’s elliptical orbit, as without it winters in the northern hemisphere would be even colder. The Earth’s 23 degree axis tilt and elliptical solar orbit is what sucks.
It ain’t our fault you heathens insist on living in a communist time zone.If it wasn’t for daylight savings time, it would be 5:15 in the morning (in Lexington) when the sun comes up in June, wouldn’t it? Eff that.
With a circular orbit and no axial tilt, all corresponding (ie equidistant) latitudes above and below the equator would have the same basic climate.Thank God for Earth’s elliptical orbit, as without it winters in the northern hemisphere would be even colder.
Actually what Florida did was say they aren't back to standard time. They are staying in daylight savings time.Florida just got rid of it. Move to a real state.
No it isn't. Even though Lexington is in the same time zone as all of Florida it will be at a different time in the winter. If they stayed on standard time we would be a different time in the summer. Indianapolis used to be that way when they didn't go to daylight savings time. If you were going there for something you had to take time of year into account as to when it exactly started. It’s the same thing either way, numbskull.
****, most of them can spend money at night too.My wife is a big fan of daylight spendings time...
