They claim in the video that Cal's former players said they put their loyalty with Calipari/Arkansas ahead of Kentucky. I don't believe that. "Wearing red" like PJ did is not the same as cheering for Arkansas over Kentucky.

Really a fan of Fox and not just because of this statement, he's just a great player and was an outstanding player and person at UK.

You can tell the guys who can see the long term. Cal will probably be at Ark for like another 2-4 seasons, Ark fans aren’t going care about former UK players. Why alienate a group (BBN) who will always be there to give you views, clicks, attention, and money?

We will see who are Cal players. Coach Pope will invite all former UK players back to represent the University.
It doesn’t necessarily have to be a mutually exclusive thing. They can root for the alma mater and also hope their former coach that most still love does well.

I have a UK ball signed (with the old power K logo) by Fox, Monk, and Bam. One of my most prized pieces of UK gear.
This is one NCAA tournament loss that I won't blame on Calipari. It's a shame that the trio of Fox, Monk & Bam ran into a crooked, dishonest ref that had an ax to grind against either Calipari and or Kentucky or maybe both & just flat out stole the game from us against UNC.
1 loss ill never blame on Cal. We balled out, and Higgins took over.

I expect most of the (former Cal) guys to pull for UK and to pull for Calipari at Ark.
But I can see some of them, maybe 50/50, pulling for Cal vs UK in that game.
I really can't see Monk doing that though (pick Cal over UK), even though he grew up an Ark fan, the way Ark fans trashed him when he chose UK.

My son got Fox's autograph when he traveled around the state after his season was over. I told him that I appreciate the way he played and represented Kentucky. His reply was "Man it was an honor to play for Kentucky". Statements like that shows a player's heart is where it should be.
I mean the refs cheated in close losses both times to UCONN too. Also not having WCS available cost UK the 2014 title IMO.
I'd say WVU and Wisconsin are the two biggest blame Cal losses in first half of his tenure. The refs did make a blatant cheat ignore shot clock violation for Wisconsin late though and the foul on UK after Harrison cut it to 1 was weak to me too. That said, cal should have called timeout and went to a go to offensive play earlier n offense. 3 straight violations are on the coach.
WVU was just horrific all around.
