How can my beloved Luke Donald finish dead last this week after making the cut! What did I do to deserve this " under par" performance. Heck,I may as well swear my allegiance to the Fighting Illini and their solid golf team! OMG!

I know! I have lived Vicariously through Luke Donald for years! I simply can't take the mood swings anymore! Therefore, I am pledging all of my golf allegiance to Lipsky, Harrington, and Wu! And of course,Fitzpatrick!

A while back our oldest grandson said with a straight face and seeming conviction, "Grandpa, If you're not first, you're last!" Not exactly the lesson I wish he'd learned from his contacts, but he assured me that was the perceived wisdom within his circle. Life may have other lessons to teach him but for now, he pretty much knows it all.

I root for all those guys too, but Luke beat Harrington at the Shriners. Get a grip on yourself!
Harrington was in the lead, or close to it,in his last couple events. He just needs to close the deal!
