JCHILL --

Montini's loss 100% hurt LA, even though the two have not faced each other? 100% hurt LA? You really are trying to tee up moving LA down based on the loss of an opponent's opponent that isn't even a common opponent? I gotta hand it to ya, JCHILL, that is DSR gamesmanship at its best. Reveal your cards a little bit. Try to influence other voters on Saturday and build momentum so that you aren't out on a limb come the release of the next DSR rankings. Go for it.

I feel like I am watching Survivor.

Last week, you and your fellow voters were tripping all over yourselves in a rush to anoint LA #1 and defend that position. I believe you described the process as an easy one. And now you are sowing the seeds of doubt in an effort to justify moving LA down, even though the Ramblers beat MC at Gately after a short week. Seriously, this is great stuff!

Relative to your Loyola vote, have you or any other voter bothered to look into how the Hilltoppers from the north are doing? Nobody is talking about this other than one voter who brought up OOS opponents of DSR ranked teams and how difficult it is to factor in those games. I know that Maxpreps has all the MUHS scores on their site, cuz I've seen them. I would like to think a thorough and serious DSR voter would want to see them too cuz they're real interesting.

I don't know. You may be selling your powers of persuasion short. You were highly critical of LA's ranking last week. You may have influenced voters.

Isn't a main tenant of the DSR a "what have you done for me lately" question? Isn't that what makes it different from a standard ranking?

Though I agree that ESTL was worthy of the number 1 spot last week, I can't hold it against a voter that now drops Loyola after this week.

In my mind there's a Loyola, GBW, HF, ESTL, tier and then a LWE, MC, WV, NV, tier with Stevenson, BR, Barrington rounding it out.

I don't envy the voters this week, but I do look forward to nitpicking the outcome ;)
