I have disgraced the place I love so dearly, and I am deeply sorry. My juvenile actions and defiance have set a poor example for others and hurt the paddock community. They have also caused much trouble for the moderators who volunteer their time to help make this a great place for Cats fans to gather. I ask for your forgiveness, and urge those who may be upset to let bygones be bygones as I strive to become a better poster and pledge to not repeat the mistakes of my past.

I don't know. I'll have to think about it for a long while. I don't accept your apology just yet, though I do greatly appreciate it and have been anticipating such a gesture, with hopeful glances and fluttering eyelids out a window towards an agreeably partly sunny sky, for several days.

I just need time to process, if that's ok. This board is really really serious business in the context of everything else, you know.

Sooooo...let me see if I got this right...

The mod overlords drop the heavy long term ban hammer on mash for being somewhat of a habitual line stepper even though his posts are entertaining and relatively harmless. Then said overlords force him to apologize to regain posting status...albeit with more restrictions...inevitably making his future posts less entertaining in the process.

Pretty much also sums up the reason the paddock has been on a downward slope for the past couple of years. Congrats.
