No idea, but it sure would be nice if it was James Hudson. If we ever wanna compete in this league we are gonna have to start getting a few big nasty fellas on the DL.

Sounds like Mike Warren may be jumpin back on board. Would be happy to have him back. Would be a nice 1-2 punch with Koback plus it would only help us out with possibly getting Hudson back. We also could use some positive recruiting momentum lately.

Yeah Rowland is saying Warren. If so, you would hope that the coaching staff makes it clear that he doesn't change his mind again. That could hurt severally down the road.

Rowland has a nice write up on which players who have decommitted we are still trying to get back in the fold and which ones we have no contact with.

From what he saying about Yeast I doubt that UK will continue to talk to him. Not the fault of the kid I might add.

Daddy Yeast interviewed for the offensive staff position and wanted to be considered for the WR coaching position...

I just don't see Warren as that big of a deal. We have plenty of RB and Kobach in the same class. W/o Hudson...Warren isn't a big deal to me. We need to oversign at DL spots and hope some over produce their HS ratings once in college.

Yeast is a kid we'd like to have...but again...smallish slot WR are a dime a dozen today.

Hudson and Mac Jones are the only two decommits that are meaningful to the UK roster

Just looking at his film, he appears to be a better DB prospect than WR to me.

whats the word on yeast...is he looking somewhere else? where? id love to have him but again, like someone else said, a smaller sized slot receiver isn't our problem.

I've always been a fan of Warren and you can never have too many good running backs in my opinion. Especially in the sec.

I love Warren too but rb isn't as hard to recruit as other positions. I heard we are still 50/50 on Hudsons services.

I would be very happy to get Warren back onboard. Right now, the future is going to be Snell, Rose, King, Koback. Rose is more of an athlete who could help us on either unit. Warren and Koback are different kinds of running backs. Koback is an elite speed guy similar to Boom in some ways, who brings lightning on the edges and can catch the football. Warren is a durable, punishing workhorse who runs downhill and cuts his runs back to daylight. Losing Warren, Hudson, Jones really hurt, but Stoops has 8 months to fill those scholarships. Hudson and Jones will not come back to us, but there are other good players to recruit. I expect a strong class, as Coach Marrow is still promising. I'm sure I am in the minority on this, but I don't think losing Yeast is a big deal.

I agree with this but I haven't totally given up on Hudson.

17,433 posts. 417 likes. Still the worst ratio on the whole board for you. With ugly numbers like that, it's not surprising to see another angry, noncontributory post.
Do you have a spreadsheet to keep track of everyone's number of posts and likes? Is that how you're able to make that judgment on vhcat? Not gonna defend him; he can defend himself. Just curious, I didn't see anything wrong with the post that prompted your snarky response.
