I’ve gotten used to the Frat Party that has replaced Deener, they can be funny and informative. It’s much, much better since that “Process” guy has left too. Now, if they can just get rid of Nick Valvano, it’d be perfect….but I guess every sports talk radio station needs a resident goofball, Homer Simpson type character. Valvano has almost single handily ruined the Maybin Show.

Could not agree more. Why they give N. Valvano a mic is beyond me. Nepotism got him there, no idea what keeps him there.

I thought he was a bit of jerk and Cayut supporter when I used to hear him on the air but I never saw his face b4. Looks like the typical 1960's redneck punk, especially with his hair cut and expression on his face. All he needs is a pack of cigarettes rolled up in his sleeve and a pair of white socks.

I know several people that know Deener personally and everyone says he is a prick. I hope this situation has humbled him and that he makes the necessary changes in his life.
Don’t know him but he has always had little man’s syndrome and he comes off as jerky, intolerant and condescending. The morning show was better without him. People like him just don’t change their stripes. I would bet that in private he blames anyone and everyone for his current predicament other than himself.

It really has… and I don’t have some weird grudge against Deener either like some people I’ve heard about. I just think that the mix of all these other personalities in the station has been way better. They have been bringing in a lot of guests too which makes it entertaining as well so yeah, not gonna lie, I preferred that over Deener

After the “apology” Deener was quickly back to his old schtick of being the overbearing, condescending, know-it-all and his co-hosts were back to being his inept stooges. It was much better without him. I’ll tune out from here on. The city and the University of Louisville are too good for the likes of Drew Deener and Nick Valvano.

Well tigers don’t lose there stripes. And he was and acts like prick. I for one will not be listening to his show. And it’s a fact it was better without him.
