I understand that most rightwingers on here believe that the Clinton’s built a deepstate global shadow empire. And the Democratic Party is synonymous with corruption and deepstate DC swamp rot.

However, Reagan was in office for 2 terms and his VP won another term after. This VP was a former head of the CIA. And his son would go on to win 2 terms as President as well. While in office the son, W, created the HSA implemented the Patriot Act and started a global war we are still fighting today.

The only fvcking whack jobs on here that make any sense anymore to me, are the ones that believe both parties are part of the same rot - and although I don’t believe it myself, believing only the Clinton’s and Democrats are dangerous deepstates is just illogical, imo.

At any rate, about the only thing I’m sure of.....Trump is no fvcking savior.

Serious question do you know why Reagan was forced to pick Bush as his VP ?

I do believe that both parties are of the rot, as you put it. Trump is no savior but the way I see it is that every president before him was essentially "The emperor with not clothes" following the rules but Trump is just out there swinging his dick in his hand and at this point I don't see how anybody can deny the whole thing is absurd and are lying to themselves to think its not corrupt from the core.
People need to stop listening to what politicians say and the big letter they put infront of their name, and start looking at the actions they take and changes they implement with the results that they have. All presidents leave office with the government having more power, especially recently in the tech age. Ask yourself "At what point does the entity decide that is has enough power?". That is why I feel the only real option is to AT EVERY TURN advocate for smaller government and decentralization.

I get your point, but it’s equally amazing to me that people do not see how much of a ***** Trump is - he has no scruples at all.

I think Trump is the epitome and glaring example of everything both sides helped create. I also think he’s in your face about it and not trying to hide behind political speak. In essence, he’s just telling you it’s piss you’re feeling spray down on you and not trying to call it rain. From my perspective, you guys are ok being lied to as long as the delivery is with class and composure.

With respect to the “deepstate”, I think you’re overly generalizing it. I think Trump is a threat to establishment, globalist, and the financial groundwork having been laid in for decades. Both sides cater to their interests. GOP to big business, pharma, O&G, and Defense. The Dems to green movements and Big Govt. Trump is upsetting the apple cart of all of them with his threats of isolationism and nationalist ideals.

I do think he has made radical changes to foreign policy and much of what we’re seeing play out is push back from people who haven’t bought in and are fighting it. I don’t know what you call that, deep state, insubordination, etc. The reality is he sets the foreign policy and its their obligation and duty to implement his policy or resign. Fighting it or pushing back against it is absolutely a “deepstate” no matter how much you all want to mock it.

Agreed, but that's not an honest account of people that pretend to be centrist on this board. Or conservative. Or libertarian. There isn't a democrat they would vote for over Trump, but yet they will paint the eventual Dem nominee as Karl Marx come back to life. Then claim they have no choice but to vote for Trump.

I can't wait.

What democrat candidate doesn't echo the same policies or support similar ideologies as the DSA and other far left organizations ? Pick one then we can pick some topics to compare. Any moderate that attempts to run gets destroyed by the MSM.

I mock the using of Deepstate to explain away everything that goes against the admin. It’s either deepstate, fake news, or democrat political propaganda. I have no doubt that to some extent these things exist, but they aren’t the answer for everything that makes Trump look bad.

Oh come on, Mr. Coop is a Wind Bag, & loves all the Dems. Voted for Clinton last election and his choice would be Bernie over the Trumpster, if it came to that. This is more entertainment than one deserves, ..... and it’s free.

trumpers, in many cases highlight the tragic failure of the the US K-12 education system. They can't think objectively. The don't know how to learn. Their closed or restricted social networks restrict access to truth, knowledge, and just as importantly, diverse views. They tend to latch on to people spouting these obscure and unrealistic conspiracies because, in my opinion, they need to feel part of a group that can "understand" these baseless yet deep and complex views.

Never saw so many people with below average IQs think they are smarter than everyone else in the room.

There are a couple of Dems I’d vote for. If Bill Weld would’ve been the nominee last go round, I’d have voted for him. I voted for Reagan instead.

I’d consider Klobuchar. I’d consider Manchin. Gabbard wouldn’t be horrible, I could vote for her. It’s all irrelevant, the loons are the front runners. So the choice is pretty easy.

When you have Govt employees refusing to carry out the direction and policy initiatives of the Executive, that’s deepstate. Period. They all work for him. Their obligation is to do the job they’re tasked with or resign. I’d have the absolute exact same stance with a Democrat as the head of the executive.

I don’t disagree, but that’s different than saying the entirety of the DOJ and IC are creating spying campaigns and investigations based on no actual intel all to undermine a Presidency.

At this point, we just have to wait and see for a couple of more weeks.

The reality is, they did spy on his campaign and it seems far more plausible of some bad actors
as you have about 20+ highly placed people sprinkled throughout the DOJ and IC who have been demoted, fired, desk’d, or resigned. Not to mention, Mueller being unable to find “collusion and conspiracy” logically says the IC was playing fast and loose with the intel collection and targeted leaks to craft a narrative in conjunction with Democrat-friendly media organizations who themselves are at war with the President. These people were all in-line for and rapidly rising stars under the Obama administration.

If you want my honest opinion, I liken it to basically J.E. Hoover type antics designed to try and control and uncontrollable entity and also get “their” people back in control to continue career advancement.

And again, the fact the NYT hasn’t released to FISC in its entirety when it could bury Trump is very telling to me.
