Those attempting it are because of persuasion, some parts not functioning up there, or simply trolling for responses and attention. It can't be done.

Speaking of not functioning up there you know Franklin was fired October 12th was subsequently hired by VaTech and that Penn State hired Campbell a few weeks ago right. But here we are another day and another post criticizing Franklin. You have cemented your status as the poster with the worst case of Franklin Derangement Syndrome. Congratulations.

The bum ruined the program. There's no denying that.

Or because they appreciated what he did for the program and they don’t consider every season without a NC a failure. I know, that’s over your head.

I have come to realize that several things can be true about James. He got the program back to prominence more quickly than anyone could have predicted considering the circumstances. He created a consistency between 2016-2025 that was top 10 in the country at a level no worse than Joe post ‘94. He ran a clean program that overachieved vs recruiting rankings and produced a lot of nfl talent. He choked in almost every big game. His in-game coaching was below average. NIL management was ineffective and inefficient. He became toxic in 2025 and needed to go. His overall tenure was positive and will eventually be remembered in a favorable manner, but it was time to part ways.

I disagree with your statement about how Franklin will be remembered.

Franklin underachieved, the end of his tenure was toxic with the fans, he lost the locker room, lost to a terrible UCLA team, lost to Northwestern at home, and he was abruptly fired. That is what most Penn State fans will remember about Franklin.
